Hey there all. I'm about 2 hrs out of Chicago but i thought i'd throw my name out there. I live just north of South Bend Indiana. I might be convinced to drive out there to DM a game on a weekend if there is enough interest and someone had a location in mind.

HEy I appreciate that. I have not heard at all from the other two who said they were in the area, but 2 hours is a hecka long drive.

I'm interested, and I know a couple other players who might be as well. All are northside Chicago, around the Lincoln Park/Wrigleyville area.

Edit: I could also DM, although it would be my first time doing it for organized play.

That is awesome I live in the Albany Park/Noth Park Uni. area. When can you play or you want to play like once a month, or what are you looking at?

I live on the south side of the city, and work typical hours...so a weeknight or weekend game works best for me.

I've run Silent Tide, and would happily do so again. I've played Frozen Fingers. I'd like to play the other two.

That sounds cool, we should see if joelf wants to play cause he could run, and maybe we could start an e-mail around about it.THoughts?

Sounds good. I'm at rules (dot) lawyer (dot) ron (at) gmail (dot) com

I've got wide-open availability on the weekend of October 3rd through 5th--perhaps we could get something together then?

Do you Chicagoland people know about Stuffed COWS? It's a convention hosted by the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, IL Friday the 28th of Nov. through Sunday the 30th of Nov. They will be running PFS #1-6 there, in case you guys didn't get a chance to hook up.

You can prereg for the convention at the Roseocon Website at :

Doug,

Unfortunately, Thanksgiving weekend is pretty full with family/holiday stuff for me. (I've also played 1-6 at this point, but I'm looking forward to playing 7and up in the future.) Does Stuffed Cows run conventions in the Chicago area at other times of the year?

It has been my experience from playing Living Greyhawk that the COWS association runs cons several times a year, always at the College of DuPage. They have a Yahoo! Group that you could subscribe to if you want to keep posted on when the next con will come around. They are real nice people. I used to drive from Detroit to play at their cons.

Can you link to that group? I did a lite search but couldn't find it.
