What about erikmonia?

At Gen Con UK, I developed a new, hideous monster that I'm sure Wes would love to put in the pages of Pathfinder: MONALOGUE. It's what happens when you cram Erik and Nick together and form one creature. It's terrifying.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. It'll be a while before I can take time to say much more.

Thanks.

Sovereign Court

Best wishes for a speedy recovery, Josh. Take good care of yourself.

P.s.
I fear the day I would ever actually see a picture of a Monalogue - 'cause it makes me think of some kind of offspring, and I know both the guys and science don't swing that way. Yuuuuck!

But in a fantasy world, hey, I'd be happy to swing at it with my bastard sword! hehe

Well, we'll have to work on a vaccine for that Monalogue nasty disease!

Get well soon.

Sovereign Court

I had pneumonia twice. once when I was in college and then a few years later, when, oddly enough, I was living in Seattle. Not something i'd wish on anyone. Get well soon!

Best wishes Josh. If you need someone to step in and moderate the boards while you're gone, I am available. I can guarantee that I would in no way rule with a merciless iron fist and persecute those on my enemies list to the corners of Paizo and beyond.

Not at all.

Seriously, just hand over the keys, and then you can rest knowing the boards are secured.

The keys...they seem to be stuck in your hand...if you could just relax a little...

I'll be back...

...with a hacksaw!

Pneumonia caught me flat-footed once, it wasn't pretty. Take care Josh and make a speedy recovery.

Did someone call for a Plague Doctor? .... I'm here to help.

Get well soon Josh,

My other half had pneumonia a few months ago. I've never heard anyone cough as much

Dear Josh

I'm so, so sorry to hear you are ill. We were all really appreciative of you making the effort of coming to see us in the UK but it sounded like it was the end of a long, long schedule of conventions. Take some time out and get really well. Sometimes it takes a lot more than a Cure Light Wounds to do the trick!

I for one welcome my new master!

Damned invading Canadian winds!

Get well soon Josh!

Oh noes! :O

Get better Josh!

Josh -

I will remember for a long time how long you managed to survive the onslaught of the werewolves in that first game of Are You a Werewolf? at GenCon.... as well as your good humor against an onslaught of "Damn you Josh Frost!" slogans (and even T-shirts).

It's a little futile to wish that you feel better... it's pneumonia, it's not likely to feel better for a while... but I hope that you do everything you need to do to keep yourself as well as possible. I would offer to send you some fudge (sorry, I don't bake cookies, fudge I can make on a stovetop), but my recipe doesn't really keep long enough for me to send (and wouldn't survive the trip intact in this heat anyway).

I hope your condition improves soon. Be well (and for heaven's sake, stop reading these boards while your sick and get some rest!)

Holy smoke! Feel better Josh.

I had pneumonia once and wound up in the hospital for a month. Take care.

I lost a close friend (and one of my D&D players) to pneumonia last winter. He was 44.

Best wishes to Josh and hopes for a speedy recovery!!

Pneumonia - yeeccchhh! Claimed one of our old acting warhorses last week here in Oz - Michael Pate. (worked nearly 20 years in Hollywood, kept being cast as Native Americans in films, about 300+ TV appearances, also scriptwriter, director, producer etc - busy! And yes, he was an Aussie!)

Get better soon!!

But his clerics have to specifically prepare Cure spells. It might be best for him to get some assistance from a deity who grants spontaneous Cure casting as inflicting wounds is the last thing Josh needs now.

So if you crossed Vic and Chris, would you get the related Wertz-to-Self?

So this monster's special attack is a long-winded, boring speech? :)

Scarab Sages RPG Superstar 2013

I think more correctly, they tell you about their characters. With the campaigns under their belts, it's an endless "monalogue" to be sure.

I remember at GenCon, Nick was telling Josh about the Werecabbage game we played the night before, and Josh interrupts him and says "Wait a minute, are you telling me about your character?"

Nick stopped for a second like he was lost. It was awesome.

To Logue: "They ran so fast. They ran so fast."

I live!

I'm about 80% right now and will be for some time. Once the medical professionals at the (not-so) urgent care clinic put me on the right antibiotic, they put me on one that kills EVERYTHING, even the good stuff. (It even kills my skin's ability to resist burning to a crisp in the sun! Hurray!) Needless to say, when I take one, it kicks my ass. Once the spread is done (Thursday), it'll be a few months before my immune system comes back up to full, so it'll be a while before I'm my crazy, obsessive self again.

I'm working hard to get everything back on schedule. The September scenarios may be slightly delayed, but the October ones are on time. We have some real treats coming up--I hope to get their product pages up soon so you can see the sneak previews in the event descriptions. Good stuff.

I have forgiven England for attempting to kill me. If I return to England next year, I shall go armed with antibiotics, a gas mask, and a UV light. Seriously, everything you've heard about the sun in England is true--the sun may have never set on the British Empire, but it never rises over England. ;-)

Good luck, Josh. Glad to hear you are on a better track. Watch out for the angry orange eye.

Make sure to try and fix that quick, that can lead to it's own set of problems.

Good to hear you're back in action.

Sorry about that Josh. But that was actually quite a sunny week for England. Glad your getting better.

Hey, don't blame England. That was a goodbye present from Dr Logue. Mind you, as he's in England, I think your precautions for your next visit make a lot of sense. Glad to hear you're feeling better. Don't come back too soon and screw it all up, though.
