Great artwork, and as usual per Paizo, great tease of the fun that is to come !

Anyone else REALLY wanting to be a follower of Iomedae now?

I love the laughter on Asmodeus' face. "Mwa ha haaaa You just signed a 10 year contract to play for the Miami Dolphins for minimum wage!!!"

Liberty's Edge

I started reading the post at the beginning, hit the point where the topic was introduced, then looked at the pictures. "Ooh, Asmodeus and Iomedae!" I said. I then finished the post, and got to the point where they were identified.

This tells me that the illustrations are doing their jobs. Good work!

Sovereign Court

I love the Iomedae illustration.

The Devil went down to Georgia

He was lookin' for a soul to steal
He was in a bind 'cause he was way behind
He willing to make a deal
When come across this young man
Sawin' on a fiddle and playin' it hot
The Devil jumped up on a hickory stump
and said, "Boy let me tell you what..."

I bet Shelyn's mug will tug-a my mig.

I was thinking more in line with the "Tribute" to that song, but I have been known to love Devil Went Down to Georgia as well.

... Fire in the mountain run, boy, run ...

Best fiddle solo ever.

Devel went back to Georgia, or Devil went to Jamaica?

I was referring to a tribute of the more... Tenacious kind.

Hmmm, my goal WAS to bang Ingrid Odeber, but now I'm thinking maybe my Goddess would be an even better goal.

Perhaps both, one in this life, one in the next ;)

Same thing here. All I knew going into it was "it's about gods" and pegged both of them easily. Admittedly Asmodeus is pretty well established, but still...

He looks like he's having a wonderful time.

You know... I have no idea why, but the Iomedae woman makes me think of Joan of Arc. It's probably the shorn hair look she has going on...

Since Joan of Arc is the primary inspiration for Iomedae... Yay!

The Iomedae illustration is really nice. A female fighter-type that's both obviously female and doesn't have skimpy, non-functional armor. Very cool.

Now to balance this out, you must now have a tiefling rogue in something skimpy. Actually, I'd suggest that all tieflings be based on DiTerlizzi's drawing of "The Painter", his recent sketch of Factol Rhys of the Transcendent Order (http://diterlizzi.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/cipher.jpg) or Todd Lockwood's depiction of Kylie the Tout (http://www.toddlockwood.com/galleries/dnd/01/tsr_jam.shtml).

I have my preferences so far as fiend-touched booty is concerned, what can I say. ;) Irony, given how I started this post talking about Iomedae's depiction. Heh.

I was always kind of fond of "needle-hair" from the campaign setting box.

Man I wish DiTerlizzi would come back to RPG-land for a while.

Todd, if I haven't said it lately, I am *so* glad you're here at Paizo. The Planes are in good hands. :)

Well, for my part I was oddly ready and willing to sign that contract Asmodeus is holding.

And that revelation disturbs me deeply.

I enjoy the fact that I can see scars on her face, as opposed to it being perfect and unmarred. It makes it look like she fights.

No nepotism by way of Aroden for her. She earned her position(and actually looks the part!).

Fantastic attention to detail. Every thing about her says "I kick butt on a regular basis."

I think you'll be surprised (in a good way). There's a few Pathfinder deities that are meant to be Beautiful and the artists strike a cool range, from modern supermodel hot to a more curvaceous latter-century sexiness. Pretty cool, and really, far less objectifying to my mind... but what do I know about the ladies?

Silver Crusade

Wait, are we getting a 2-for-1 deal with Gozreh, just one aspect of the two, or some sort of stylized mish-mash of both aspects? Or should we wait to be surprised? ;)

Wait. It's cool.
