Barbarian, Druid, Sorcerer Confirmed in PHB II, Edit: Bard kinda confirmed too!

4th Edition

I remember the necromancy for healing. I always agreed with it, and was confused when they switched it to conjuration. There was a player made druid 4th edition class that I really liked floating around about a month back. It had 3 builds/roles. Shapeshifting defender, Shapeshifting striker, and a Spell based striker. It was excellent.

I am still waiting for a Shadow Knight type character to come out. The Duskblade in 3.5 was the best example of one I had seen in a long time. I am wanting full plate, and necromancy spells. I will make a fighter/necromancer or paladin/necromancer multi-class depending on stats first chance I get.

I really wish they would drop Gnomes for Gnolls. So much better than the little lawn darts.

Breaking news! Eberron seminar confirms Shifter as race in PHB II.

Leaving us with
Races:
(DGGHS as first letters, OEH as second letters, R as a final letter)

De???
Gnome
Goliath
Half-Orc
Shifter

Any thoughts?

Cover

Player's Handbook II: includes gnomes, half-orcs, and shifters. What are the ghostly-looking felines on the cover? James remains coy.

They seem to be hinting at something with this. Emphasis mine.

While that may possibly have something to do with one of the races, I definitely think we're seeing a Class Ability for someone in that book.

The question is, is it one of the classes we know about? Or something entirely new? Will this be one of the first glimpses into what a Summoner-type class will look like?

I think they are being shifty about shifter shamans. They should be less shhhh! and should share more goodies soon. That would make for a great show!

Haha, I'm waiting for the Pathfinder Campaign Setting to end up there as well, so I can look at all the cool Wayne Reynolds artwork.

Great. Steal from the people who actually care about their customers. What an admirable course of action.

Erm. So it's alright to steal from WotC but not Paizo because they "care about their cutomers"?

Also, it seemed more like a sarcastic response to a person claiming their desire to pirate a 4e product.

I have a hard time qq'ing about numbered core books in 4e, since my favorite 3.5 supplement was the PHB2.
