Holidays in Golarion

Has anyone come up with Golarion-themed holidays.

One of my players decided that there should be a 'Fireday' holiday - which I've decided is on the Fall Equinox but I don't have a clue what type of holiday it should be.

"Fireday" is already the name of the fifth day of the week according to the Varisian (and, therefore, Golarion) calendar.

Also, I'm not positive, but if the beginning of Rise of the Runelords is any indication, the Swallowtail Festival (dedicated to Desna) is also held on the Autumnal Equinox.

Of course, there's no reason that a single day can't have more than one holiday associated with it, and equinoxes are pretty important in many cultures.

Does your player mean that he/she wants there to be a holiday dedicated to the element of fire? I'd like to help come up with something, but I could use a bit more context.

These will be covered in the Hardcover. James posted an example month (Erastus) on another thread, but searching is nerfed so I can't find it.

Actually the Swallowtail Festival is held on the first day of autumn. (Which was the day I started my Runelords AP)

I think the exact term was Fireday Festival... which means it should be on the first fireday of Lamashan (not the equinox that I originally penciled it in for..)

I'm thinking of a fertility/good harvest festival with fire undertones. The PCs will be in Magnimar for the festival.

I will be using cannon holidays when the Campaign Setting comes out, but I have no problem adding 'local' holidays when my players what something non-killy to do.

OAK DAY

Cycle: Lunar Month
Region(Galorian/Regional/Local): Local
Description: Celebrated every day of a fullmoon by some farmers near thistletop. Celebrates the day they hung a Druid from his oak tree and burned his little wood into charcoal to improve their farmsoil.
Ritual: Involves beating the old oak tree with a heavy piece of timber three times (sounds like you are chopping down the tree with your axe).
