Way to go, folks!!!

Wow. Well, much deserved.

That's what happens when you consistenly put out high quality products.

There you go, Paizo. Your comeuppance! :)

Very nice. I'm rooting for all of them, though with Paizo being up against itself in two categories, they won't all win. I'm curious about one thing, though, and that's the focus on PF8. I understand that PF1 is honored several times for kicking off the line, but PF8, while a great adventure and book overall, doesn't rank higher in my book than any of the other volumes. I just wonder how that one was chosen over the rest.

Wow. I'm absolutely enthralled by the cartography in Paizo products (and a pox on any fantasy writer that doesn't include a map!), and now I absolutely have to go look at the actual nominees. Hard for me to imagine nicer maps.

Very impressive. Now let's just see how many of those translate into wins, and we'll know if the "ENWorld is a WotC-funded subsidiary" conspiracy theory has any life to it these days or not.

I know Pathfinder #1 is getting a lot of attention, but I thought PF#2 was the best of the first series, and PF#10 is the best of the second series.

Paizo deserves a lot of praise for the entire Pathfinder line. It is excellent work, and it is well supported. I am not sure any other company can claim the number of high quality products that Paizo produced over this 12 month span. They should bring home a number of golden awards!

I know I'm putting in my vote for the Fans' Choice "Best Publisher" for Paizo...Come on, open up the voting already! :D

PF8 is getting quite the kudos. Very nice!

But PF1 is nominated in more categories. :)

It's crazy how many nominations Pathfinder has received for the ENnies yet was snubbed at Origins.

Sovereign Court

I'm very happy for Paizo cos, you know, their stuff rocks!

That said,

I'm honestly crushed that my book, Secrets of Pact Magic, which has enjoyed lots of great reviews -- on artwork, cover, just about everything -- wasn't nominated for anything :-(

Did I mention. :-(

They should have also gotten at least an honorable mention for the category of Best Goblin Song in an Adventure for the "We are goblins, you are food" song in Rise of the Runelords. :-P

I too have thoroughly enjoyed every Paizo product that I have come across.

A nomination for the Golarion globe was also deserved...oh wait. What year is this? Damn.

No No Noo those are in 2 years after Pathfinder: The Whispering Tyrant is the summer blockbuster, grossing more than titanic and all 3 lord of the rings movies combined!

I add my hearty congratulations to those already given to all the wonderful folks at Paizo.

Great job folks!

Hey guys, as an ENnies judge this year I'm making the rounds, saying congrats to the nominees. I guess I have to congratulate Paizo a lot, then. Seriously, though, their product lineup was just complete quality, and it blew me away, start to finish. Great work all around!

And Dario, if may say so: I -loved- your book, sir. I'm actively working it into my next campaign, as a matter of fact. I'm sorry you didn't get the nomination this year, but that's somehow how things play out. I hope to see more of your work this next year, if I'm entrusted by the voters with another run at judging.

By the way guys, as an ENnies judge this year, I promised to be as accessible and as open as possible. I'll answer any questions I can, and will be happy to talk shop as much as I'm able. I've also kept a blog about my entire judging experience. Feel free to stop by or drop me an email there if you have a question you don't feel like sharing aloud:

Again, mad props to Paizo for hitting it out of the park.

EDIT: An explanation as to why certain Pathfinders are nominated and not others is that Paizo didn't submit every issue.

In a market with so many good products, perhaps the greatest compliment an author can receive is to hear his/her stuff is actually in use in someone's campaign.

I work full time and writing that monstrous puppy took a chunk of my life. I don't know if I have it in me again. Just reaching customers is an ongoing challenge. I have a few tricks still up my sleeve, and Paizo's quality is certainly an inspiration. We'll see.

Thank you for the kind words and for your openness to interaction on these boards.
