I just wanted to say how dissapointed I am with Pathfinder that I am going to cancel all products since if this isn't made exactly to fulfill my tastes then no product you ever make can be of any use to me. Now I'm going to list the various reasons you should care that I am no longer going to be using this system.
1) it doesn't change enough to warrant being called a new edition, seriously why am I shelling out 50 bucks to buy something that still has vancian magic, itterative attacks and skill points
2) it's not backwards compatable, you've changed too many things, barbarian rage points, rogue magic, skill ranks, now I have to do all this conversion work if I want to play any of my modules, I'm not even going to try and playtest this because I can see how hard it's going to be.
3) High level play takes too long, in my 3rd level 4e game combat takes us about 30 minutes to an hour, so I know that when my party hits 26th level combat will be the exact same.
4) You haven't done anything to fix the fighter, I can't even play it because I see that it still will suck at higher levels despite all the extra feats and bonuses. I can tell just by looking that this fixes nothing because I am so intuitive when looking at gaming systems that I can automatically detect how anything will play out, why you haven't hired me to replace Jason yet is beyond me.
5) You haven't balanced the classes at all, go ahead and go to the 4th ed forums, all the char ops people agree that every class is perfectly balanced and that every power is properly leveled and there are no obvious power choices. Until you manage to make 3rd as balanced as 4th I don't see any reason to play or buy any product from you because like I said if I don't like your RPG then your game mastery products, your planet stories line, your 3rd party gaming sales, none of it will suit me.
I just wanted to let you know all this because since I'm leaving I figured it was very important to take up thread space so that everyone can argue over my opinions, which I totally will not come back to look at because a post like this deserves discussion and I don't really just want to see what people think of my opinion. And it is totally reasonable to post that you don't care about what people think of your opinion because if it were true why would you bother to post in the first place, because that's not a hypocritical position at all.

Seriously, I wouldn't mind seeing a moratorium on threads that say:
"I'm leaving...FOREVER!! Don't try to change my mind, folks, I'm a-goin' and NEVER COMING BACK!!"

I like how the first gripe is that there is not enough change, which is then followed up immediately by the complaint that there is too much change.

I'm not the OP, I'm the OPs roomate, I just wanted to say that I totally agree with my roomate who isn't me and all you guys who are disagreeing with my non-me roomate are just foolish.
BTW this is not the OP this is the OPs roomate, which is completely true and you have plenty of ways of checking on this so there is absolutely no reason to doubt the validity of this claim, I just don't want to take the time to make a screename when I can totally just use this account since he isn't going to use it anymore. If i had a sig I'd declare that I was the roomate, but since paizo can't seem to take the time to give us sigs, which we totally have rights to have and should take umbridge that this company is wasting all this time not supporting 4e when they could be giving us sigs.

Wow, as a totally impartial outside observer with absolutely no connection to the posters, I have to say that lastknightleft and Trey probably have more integrity than anyone else around. We all could learn some serious lessons from them! Too bad they are completely not reading these boards anymore so that they can see how impressed we all are, right everyone?

Yeah it's a shame, any time I try to tell my roomate something from these boards he claps his hands over his ears and start sing/yelling la la la I'm not listening, my ego is not so large I have to constantly double check to see what posters are saying la la la. Maybe I'll trick him into getting your compliment though.

I'm so sick of these posters saying that they don't like Pathfinder and they won't buy the books that I'm going to clone myself 100 times and have each clone post a lengthy thread on the boards declaring its undying devotion to Pathfinder RPG and all ancillary products. Each clone will buy their own copy of every Paizo product until the sun goes nova, and in addition, I will personally buy an extra copy of the Pathfinder RPG for each and every poster who has declared that they have quit the boards and hate PRPG. Furthermore, I will buy a like number of beta RPG books, and even alpha books, despite those being free. I will mail a check to paizo for $25 per alpha document I print to cover their alpha costs and to show these vocal PRPG quitters!
To ensure that I purchase the correct number of Pathfinder books (alpha, beta, and final), I implore all members of the board who plan on quitting but have not yet posted this information in a separate, dramatically titled thread to please stop lurking with your intentions and post such threads so I can get an accurate count.

Get what? that was my roomates post and it is entirely serious, the only reason that there is still a subscriber tag above the name is that paizo is so glitchy they haven't caught up to all his cancellations. I'm sure it'll go away any minute now.

You have to use your daily power "Put the Money in the Slot". Assuming it doesn't bust the suspension of disbelief. In which case, get a wizard to cast Detect Magic, because that is much more realistic.
