Male Human Rogue, 1st level (at the moment)

Gulrym moves over to search the newly illuminated area. (he has a search modifier of +7).

Sorry I could not post before but the messageboards were down in the afternoon.

This is a map of the area with grids to see dimensions..

This is a jpg version

The crack runs through the whole wall from up to down. The crack allows enough space to peek to the area that is on the other side and even pass a hand or an arm but no way someone could pass through it not even a small size character. The ilumination from the area you are now allows no opportunity to see what in the other are there is. Only characters with darkvision have the chance to see.

26 Gul¡ enough to see a lot of things:

Just garbage on the floor but when you search on the crack you can notice the wall could be torn apart just using some brute force or maybe a little wit with the appropriate tools.

You forget the powers of a low-light gifted gnome with dancing lights!

Voran will move to the crack and direct one of the dancing lights to pass through it illuminating the area beyond.

Male Human Rogue, 1st level (at the moment)

Gulgrym steps back and strokes his chin thoughfully, wondering how offended the beggar would be should he return to find a gaping whole ripped in the back wall of his refuge. "Can you see anything back there?" he asks Voran.

Your dancing light goes through the wall and iluminates the place where yu can see water running, the place seems to be part of the sewers of Raven's Bluff.

"Well thats pleasant" the man says dryly.

Male Human Rogue, 1st level (at the moment)

"well there is an advocation of going through the wall, if I ever heard one." Gulgrym says claping the Man on the shoulder and giving him a wink to let him know he is kidding.

Male Half-elf Bard 7

Voran strokes his beard thoughtfully. "I don't see any reason to damage this good fellow's home than necessary. Though it is nice to know we might be able to escape this way if we get cornered." Voran will then move over to the bed and see if there is anything interesting there to help him learn about the poor begger and how he came to such a condition.

There are a few belongs of him over the dirty bedroll, the smell of it is not so pleasant, nothing out of normal. There is a small bedtable next to the bedroll as you see on the map, it has a drawer.

Male Half-elf Bard 7

Voran will absent-mindedly open the drawer looking to see what is in it.

When Voran opens the drawer he can see dirty clothes but something unusual too, a book with the inscription "The Ultimate Talein's Dream".

Male Half-elf Bard 7

Voran will casually pick the book up and start scanning its pages.

Male Human Rogue, 1st level (at the moment)

Gulgrym glances over at the gnome, "Anything intersting there?" he asks.

The first page of the book shows a loose map of an island with a red cross in a place.

The first paragraph you can read is next:

"No man, I will not be a poor beggar forever"

The rest of the book is something like an itinerary to get to an island from Raven's Bluff.

In one of the pages you can find a loose letter that says:

"Sorry son but I can't send you more money...your vices have destroyed everything we were as a family...and now that crazyness to go after an imaginary treasure...no son, this dream of you to become rich by unearthing a forgotten treasure is something that will not be supported for this old man...better get a job and leave the life you are having..."

Male Half-elf Bard 7

"Not really. Just some personal correspondences of our friend and his family. Looks like the poor fellow has been down on his luck for a while. Might be worthwhile to see if he'd be willing to join us. We might be able to help him back on his feet."

Voran will not mention the possibility of treasure to his companions, he'll leave that up to the begger if he so chooses.

Male Human Rogue, 1st level (at the moment)

"We might as well see if he wants to join up with us." Gulgrym says with a shrug, "We already seem to have lost a couple people that started out with us this morning."

"I'm fine with it."

In that very moment the crate starts moving allowing the sunlight entering the small room. An unknown's head appears through the hole.

Who of you $%&* killed my brother?!

Tell me where are you using this scheme over the map:
A B C
1
2
3

Male Half-elf Bard 7

Voran is probably around A1.

Male Human Rogue, 1st level (at the moment)

Gulgrym is in front of the crack (So probably A-3).

Gulgrym looks over at the gnome. "It looks like your beggar friend sold us out."

Then glancing at the man in the doorway he continues, "Damn and I just got myself cleaned up" as his hand falls to the hilt of his blade.

This will not finish well, so everyone roll initiative.

Male Half-elf Bard 7

Initiative for Voran: 1d20=8

Just choose one.

Gulgrym initiative is 5+8=13

Male Human Rogue, 1st level (at the moment)

"Your borthers death falls on me." Gulgrym says, slipping back into his battle voice, low and menacing, "do you really want to join him?"

Male Human Rogue, 1st level (at the moment)

Gulgrym taps his foot impatiently, waiting for the action to commence.

Male Half-elf Bard 7

Well if Patricio is able to start posting again in the next few days, I am going to be out of town. So feel free to NPC my character if I'm not back. Voran will probably draw his loaded crossbow, but will try to avoid a fight.

Male Half-elf Bard 7

I'm back now. I am thinking about giving it another week to see if Patricio is able to get back on the boards and start posting. If we don't hear from him, I'll probably drop out.

Male Human Barbarian 1

I kind of fell off the radar a while ago, since I've been deployed a couple of weeks ago. I do apologize for my absence.

The DM hasn't posted in 2 and a half weeks... I am done.

Male Half-elf Bard 7

"Holy crap, I'm out of here." Voran then pushes his way through the crack in the wall and disappears forever.

I'm done as well. Take care.
