It seems that every time I try and post to these message boards (hopefully not this time) the boards eat my message. I just spent an hour posting the highlights of last nights playtest on the Alpha 3 general board, and when I hit preview the Paizo homepage came up. This is not the first time this has happened. Is there any way that the admin's can save my post (Titled Rynthief's Playtest (Spoilers), or am I hosed?

You got this one through ok.
In the future, your best bet is to copy your text to the clipboard for long posts. Sometimes the post monster eats them and it always sucks to have to rewrite them.

Yeah - this is a known bug that Gary is working on fixing. There is no way to retrieve it, the best way to prevent it is to write your post in a word processor and copy/paste it to the board. This happens when you have the posting window open for a long time and many other posts/changes in the boards have happened while it was open. I have seen this happen as little as 20 minutes on busy days to an hour+ without it doing it on a slower day. Gary has eliminated some of the reasons so normally it will only happen after 30-45 minutes.

Join the club. It is the most annoying things about the Paizo boards. It makes me wonder why I post here sometimes. I love Paizo and their print products, but let me be honest guys, your boards suck.

I've had them a little more frequently in the last 2 or 3 days.
All of them were short.
Also, don't try to reply or edit multiple threads at a time. Every time I've done that, the post has gotten eaten or shown up in the wrong thread.

Sigh... I just wanted to mention that it's been happening more frequently to me as well.
I've noticed a pattern though, every time I make a long post and copy it to the clipboard before hitting "submit post" I'm fine. When I forget, my post gets eaten.
Maybe the posting only works if the contents of your clipboard match the post?
Note: The first paragraph is the only serious one in this post. (CTRL-A, CTRL-C -> Click Submit, cross fingers)
