DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE
YEah I'd have to say pure bacon here.
Has any one heard a peep out of Kruelaid? Or is he still stuck behind the Red Curtain?
DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE
He has the bittersweet condition that he is so effective at his job that it is consuming all his time. While a definite bonus for him in RL, as he is a well-paid business executive now, it has the downside that his ration of free time for persuits such as PbP is gone.

Boy, I'm glad I'm not good at my job....
DO NOT STICK FINGERS IN CAGE
I'm good at my job, it's just that my job's sort of... low-end.
Have my own practice. Success or failure depends not so much on legal skill but on collection of legal fees.

So what's happening? Kruel, you back? What craziness has been happening in your life? Is the game back on?
I've been 5 days without insanely itchy leprous eczema.
I think I've got the allergens identified (no good immunologists here).
So I'm going to try and get my s#@% back together this week, and I'm looking around to see if everyone else is also okay.

It sucks to be young and talented without a cool job to apply your talent to. Did that for 15 years.

Pissing away my life's savings to pay for education at a college that supposedly caters to talented people, but in reality stifles them. Not being there I'm not sure but... I propose that most schools are like this--the exception being when you find those professors who just have something totally special.
When you're serving your time you gotta give a s*&~ just enough to get some marks, and not give a s#&! just enough to keep your own beat.
And any way you look at it, western universities don't hold a f$&&ing candle to the s&*@ I've seen in China when it comes to stifling. Yet still I've made a few friends who managed to pull through it with their uniqueness still burning.
That said, I'm going to guess that you've got everything you need to not give a s@$$ just enough. The question is, can you give a s~** when you really need to?
Oh, and I paid off my student loans by the time I was 35. HahahAHAHAHAHahaha! Craaaaaaaazzzzzzy.
Kruelaid wrote: Oh, and I paid off my student loans by the time I was 35. HahahAHAHAHAHahaha! Craaaaaaaazzzzzzy. I'm one step ahead. I never took any out. I saved money for seven years, and a couple of family members agreed to go splits with me. Cash up front, baby!
Sam's ready to Transform and Rollout whenever you are Kruel my man... :D

The first rule of karate, when I had a karate school, was "get the money first."
What room was Patrick's aunt in? And Cord's ex works in the nursing station one floor up or down...
Hmmm.

The first rule of karate, when I had a karate school, was "get the money first." I thought the first rule of Karate school was "you don't talk about Karate School", which incidental is also the second rule.
Come on, let's get this game back up and running! I want to use one of these!

I'm in whenever you're ready to pick up again Kruel. No pressure if life isn't allowing it right now.
I am still lurking and living in hope.

All I want for Christmas is for this PbP to restart. So how about it K?
I wish everyone has a copy of Mutants and Masterminds D20 (2nd ed) so we can roleplay fictionalized, but with super powers, versions of ourselves, hip deep in the zombie war (Heroes meet Dawn of the Dead)
hahaha
Merry Christmas :-)

Radavel wrote: Thank you; sent you the email :-) Any chance you might be able to send it my way as well? I have a Sourcebook (Gestalt) that uses M&M, but don't actually own the rules, which makes it kinda hard. :/
I can e-mail you some stuff you might not have to make up for it. :)

I have said it once and I'll say it again, Cord wants his mommy.
Or in a Dr. Leonard 'Bones' McCoy style "Dammit Kruelaid, I'm a fireman not a Zombie hunter."
Cord is about to see some more madness.
