Does anybody remember this comic-show?

This is a personal favorite of mine and you can see a ton of the episodes on Youtube.

Worth a watch people... I give you The Maxx!

THE MAXX

Oh gods yes I used to read the comics.

Scarab Sages

We saw this on MTV, oooh, 12 years ago?

The villain, Mr Gone, with the mad beard, and those squishy tadpole-shaped monsters...

I didn't watch the show, but I loved the comics.

Ahhh yes, the MAXX.

A great comic and great cartoon.

yepp...re-watched it.

I'm a big fan of weird-shortruns for comics.

This certainly qualifies. I wish there was more of this stuff. Anybody who has anything similar, I would love to see.

Cool, I read the comics -never knew about the cartoon.

...The Isz!

I knew it would come back to me eventually.

I had a buddy at the time who was really into this; I knew about the comics before they started airing them, but it wasn't really my thing. Seeing them reminds me of when MTV really used to have some awesome "avant-garde" kind of stuff on it instead of the wall-to-wall fecal matter they show now. Like Liquid Television, home of seriously out there garbage, and my favorite short:

Grinning Evil Death.

along with notable runner-up:
The Running Man.

Neither one of these are probably work safe, as they are a bit violent (and shouldn't you be working, anyhow?).

Paizo Employee Director of Game Development

Thank you for that carjacking down memory lane. I really liked Liquid Television and these two were among my favorite clips.

Yes, I watched these on MTV back when they first aired.

Liquid TV was one of the only things on television worth watching!

Also, here's another old classic. Of course you need to download the Veoh player (which is free).
