Love the book.
Shamans figure heavily into most of the monstrous societies, so do the authors have a perferred verson of the Shaman? I know there a quite a few versions of Shamans by various companies, but I have never been happy with any of them. I'd definitely take a second look if someone can recommend one.
And by the why I love the fact that Shamans are in conflict with the clerics and witch doctors with these societies, adds a level of tension even to the spirtual lives of these monsters.

I'm not going to say definitively, but given the sources that Pathfinder has used in the past, it seems likely that the shaman from Green Ronin's Master Class line is a likely candidate. (The only OGL sources I've seen Paizo use for Pathfinder have been Green Ronin and Necromancer Games products).

If I was to stat out a monster shaman I would probably go with an adept NPC class or stick with the old 1e DMG admonition--shamans are clerics, witchdoctors are cleric/magic-users (to paraphrase). I know when I was writing my section, I leaned heavily on 1e tradition that maybe hadn't survived the years so much intact. Druids work well, too, of course.
