I remember reading a positng or article somewhere on the site that mentioned areas (i cannot recall the exact names) that are evocative of India, China and Ancient Egypt. I am curious about a few things in the campaign setting.
What non-european earth cultures are used as a basis for nations/regions in the Pathfinder Campaign Setting and what their names are?
Also will they be detailed to any degree in the the main setting book or covered in later supplements?
How much interaction occurs between regions?

I believe there are about a dozen different cultures in Golarion. They have a fair amount of interaction, depending upon where in the world you're at. Beyond Europe, we've got cultures inspired by Asia, Africa, India, and a few that don't really have real-world culture analogs so far. They'll get a fair amount of information in the 64 page Gazetteer, and more in the Hardcover campaign setting.
