What level advancement rate will Adventure Paths take?

For adventure paths the PCs must advance at a particular rate from one chapter to the next.

Im not a fan of the slow, medium, and fast experiance progression at all.

But since this system exists (for now)...what is the "default" rate of advancement. Which one will the Pathfinder Adventure paths use?

My guess would be fast as it nearly matches 3.5 progression if I am not mistaken.

It says on page 62 (PDF page 63) of the Alpha that it's Fast. Near the bottom of the left column.

Hmm... not sure yet. My gut tells me to do medium, actually, since that makes it easiest to switch to slow OR fast depending on the GM's preference. Assuming the 3 XP tracks makes it to the final game, of course.

I don't see the need for three tracks. IMHO the core system should just give the default progression. Everyone can modify that to his own taste. Maybe a sidebar to explain how to tweak it.

I'm hoping the three xp tracks make it as well.

I agree. Having the 3 tracks is a nice guideline for those GMs customizing their running of a published AP. Even if the APs always stick to one, having the three out there as guidelines is a nice tool that doesn't hurt anything (unless page space becomes a super-premium).
