Even as I write this I am thumbing through the Guide to Korvosa!

AS I said in another thread - I got the email while checking to see if Mike had replied to the email I sent him about Wikis and now its difficult to work for the next 3 and 1/2 hours
No doubt... I am in love with this Guide to Korvosa. I am going to post elsewhere, but with just a quick flip through.. this is a really high quality piece of work. Great art, maps, but a lot of detailed text.
There's a lot of value in this book, and I think it's going to be a real feather in Mike's hat. Seriously.
And yes, lots of people helped him too. They derserve all due credit.
I just ordereed the Guide to Korvosa, I'm really looking forward to it!
Check my "First Impressions" post. I think you're love it. There's a lot of material here. I think the Team wanted to get all the content in, and they squeezed. Not that it's hard to read, or that they skimped on artwork or maps (there's tons), but there is no empty white space. If they had some room, they put some content in it.
And I like that!

Oh man, my order is still pending - I have the Hold for Pathfinder shipping option, what does everyone else have?
Order of receiving the PDF depends on your shipping method and how much you have waiting for your shipment. they do the UPS bigger ones, the UPS smaller ones, the faster USPS bigger ones, The faster USPS small ones.. ect until the longest shipping method, smallest shipment (at least last time we had it explained)

Oh I know, and I hate to get all impatient, but this is a big order with the Korvosa guide, the map pack, the new Wolfgang module, and Pathfinder #7!

I'm starting to think that as soon as there was a problem with your order, you get pushed down the queue, to after everyone else. Since this time, there was a small problem with some orders (including mine) about the free Player's Guide not automaticaly including itself, I feel I have to wait again, even though I'm International and a big subscriber (two things that were said to give some priority). And I say "wait again" because it seems there's a problem with my sub order every other month (this might be the 3rd time out of 7 PF I get pushed down for corrections to my subs package).
I can wait a couple days more, but the wait is very hard when everyone else is already discussing the products... and even harder when there's a week-end comming soon and I feel I might have to wait next week... OK, I'm done complaining now :)
Now to the positive idea part!
I'm assuming that a problem with the subs order (and following manual change that must be made by Paizo staff to correct it) gets my order processing to be pushed down to the "normal queue", as opposed to the "subs queue", or get pushed down some other way as to increase the normal delays. If that's a correct assumption, could you please create a new queue were those subs orders with problems get dumped after correction is made? And then, make sure this queue gets:
1- PDF access as fast as everyone else by charging the card even though it ships 3-5 days later, so we at least get to see it as soon as everyone else;
2- shipped right after all normal subs shipments are done with, so they at least go out before the usual day-to-day orders (which was said to be a priviledge of subs, if I remember correctly).
That would be perfect. And I would never again feel left out just because I was part of the unlucky ones that had a problem with its subs package.

We really, really tried hard to get everyone's products shipped out the door before the weekend, but alas, it seems like we came up short. But not from lack of trying! I spent about 5 hours of my work day packing boxes and shipping orders today (one of our warehouse monkeys has been sick for the past few days...I think he has the Pathfinder shipping flu). In any case, we should be able to get the rest out on Monday. Sorry that we didn't get them all out. I really, really wanted to be able to do that for everyone.

Hmm...I think I've conned out the real reason they don't give more advanced shipping notices. I suspect it has less to do with boats from China and more to do with keeping the warehouse monkeys from knowing when to call in sick so they miss the heavy stuff.
"What's that? Guide to Korvosa AND Pathfinder 7 today? Umm...cough cough."
(And yes, they actually say "cough")
