Seems perfectly normal to me.....
Okay I had another boobie dream. WTF? This time it was topless women at the supermarket.
Thank god they're always firm and protuberant. I'd had to have dreams about Heathy's dug wielding hags.
Everclear. Yah, same effect, although the doctor advised me that isopropyl is about twice as harmful and suggested I restrain myself next time.
And sadly I never even got much of a buzz off the whole thing, it just made me sleepy.
... CNS depressant.

I'm hoping they'll do a cover of Rikki Don't Lose That Number.

Maybe a 2/2 speed metal-paced version of Bodhisattva?

What does the wife think of Metallica's latest album offering Aubs?
BTW, I'm hectic at work this week, try to catch up on games when I can (or when I just get sick of working).
She was never really big on Metallica - they were a bit after her time. She likes AC/DC, Deep Purple, Rainbow, and so on - the mid- to late-70's stuff. She went off and became responsible about the time that Metallica were rising in the metal consciousness, so she hasn't actually got any of their albums, though a friend at my work leant us Death Magnetic and I ripped her a CD for the car. She likes it (though she was more excited, and plays more, the new AC/DC album - I think she prefers songs about sex rather than death, which I must admit makes her more fun to live with) and she certainly enjoyed the gig.
I quite enjoyed the gig, though towards the end for me the rapid-churning-riff-on-a-single-note thing began to pall - the law of diminishing returns set in after an hour or so - and the solos were more like finger exercises rather than thought-out choice-of-notes. That said, I liked the more melodic stuff that had a bit of harmonic progression and the whole thing had a lot of energy and power. There were some guys in the seats in front of us who were flinging themselves about like they were in the mosh pit - thing is, they were probably about 40 and there actually was a mosh pit if they wanted to do that sort of thing, so all they did was look silly and it was distracting waiting for them to hurt themselves or someone else (the words "old enough to know better" sprang to mind). And my hearing was damaged for a while. But it was a good gig - they certainly knew their trade, and the guy can actually sing, which was nice.

"Deacon blues" or "Aja" would sound a little odd. But a Metallica version of "Reelin' in the years" could actually work.
Might work better than their current live version, which is slower and has a bit less ooomph. Apparently, the solo from that is Jimmy Paige's favorite guitar solo (or it was at the time he was asked, which was probably 30 years ago). The problem with metal guitar solos is that they really emphasis speed over picking a melodic line - they sound the same. That's why I prefer jazz-rock guitar solos to metal - the solo over Reelin' In the Years could never be played by Metallica (nor does metal use a shuffle beat that often either) - it was apparently a single take, too. Plus you get more harmonic progression (generally) in Steely Dan, so the guitarist has to work round the harmony, which then will trigger a more melodic ideas.

Question for the more experienced players. Anyone have any ideas what I should buy to prep for this next phase? Potions, scrolls, wands? Can anyone make this kinda stuff?
I seemed to find a bit more stuff for you than Rags.
One little beauty is in the Races of Wild, Page 169
Masterwork Elven Harp, (hand variety) gives a +2 mswk bonus to Perform checks and a further +1 bonus to Perform if the player has 5 ranks in Perform.
The Races of Dragon has a version of Pearls of Power for spontaneous spellcasters, called a Memento Magica, page 124. Basically it gives you an extra spell slot per day. Cost is 1,500gp for first level slot and 6,000 for 2nd.
In the Complete Mage there is an alchemical mask called an Auran Mask, I guess it only works once, because it gives you water breathing for 10 minutes and costs 60gp. Page 134 for that one.
I got bored before I read the Magic Item Compendium but I guess that has a few goodies in it.
Personally I'd look to boost stats and like the man said a wand of blasting etc combined with Use Magic Device would add to Pip's variety of actions.

Rags there is one item I found in the Complete Champion book, (page 141).
Ring of the Beast allows a druid (even in wildshape) to cast Summon Natures Ally as if it was the next spell level up. So SNA I is cast as SNA II, and so on. The druid cannot cast a spell above his maximum so a 7th druid cannot upgrade beyond SNA IV.
Whaddaya think?
Unfortunately it costs 8K.
cheers

Cool! I'll take a look for/at it! Thx.
I have a few ideers for how to spend some of his loot. I'll post it when I've had a chance to work on math and such.
Mainly wondering what the cost would be if someone (Altai?!?) were to transfer the Beast shape ability of his armor to his Dragonhide, (which has a better AC base) and transfer the +1 of what he's wearing to his dragonhide to make it plus 2? (I know it wouldn't cover all of the increase from 1 to 2, but I figure it's got to help!)

Wait,...
You get PAID?!?!?!
I thought it was a law, you have to go to work!
;P
Crashed HARD last night, and no books here at work. Hopefully this afternoon I get it done.
Still looking for other suggestions, otherwise will probably take that expensive ring that boosts summoning spells up a lvl, (That WILL be useful!) boost my beastshape armor up a notch, maybe add a necklace of Nat AC boost, I'm wondering, is there a Druid version of a Ring of Wizardry? (If you want to say no for game balance, that's fine. ) I was just thinking how to boost our healing power. (Though Altai may want to invest in one of those!) Other than that, I just don't know what to get a druid! There are some nice (too expensive ) staffs, but since he shifts he almost never enters combat with weapons, so no reason to boost my +1 rapier. Maybe boost my bow for ranged,...?

I feel for you mate, having a touch of stomach bug myself today. Not too serious though in my case. Hope you're feeling better soon.
