An Event module I want to see

Liberty's Edge

This is the event module I want to see.

A battle, a major battle between multiple nations. A "D&D-Day" if you'll forgive the terrible pun. With a few different nations involved, and various roles for the PCs to play in. I think you guys could do it very well (or I could if I ever get myself inducted into the freelancer cabal =p)

I really think it would be a great module though and I want to see an area of Golarion that's a warzone.

Lantern Lodge

Using WotC's Heroes of Battle for inspiration.

This product discussed how PCs could become involved in a battlefield, with fights and mayhem happening all around them. But they don't have to fight an entire army themselves, that's what the rest of the army are doing. They may have to deal with random encounters from enemy soldiers who approach too close threating them, but the PCs have a series of goals to accomplish while battle rages all around them.

These goals might be to deliver a vital message to one of your nation's commanders; to defuse some enemy contraption or time-bomb in the middle of the battlefield before it detonates; identify the strategist among the enemy army, and then capture him *alive* for interrogation; rescue a bored young noble who joined the call to war, but got in way over his head; to cut off the enemy's food supply caravan, thus causing them to retreat from the front-line; etc, you get the idea.

You don't have to charge in screaming with swords swinging in both hands, or throwing fireballs into the battlefield to meaningfully participate in a war. There are many important and dangerous missions required, while fighting roars all around you.

You should take a look at the War of the Burning Sky series over at enworld. It's a set of twelve linked adventures with a war among nations as the backdrop. As you progress by level, you take more and more of a role in the war, eventually deciding on the alliances that shape the region for the foreseeable future. I've only read the first one, but I thought it had a great feel and had a very different structure from most other published adventures.
