Congratulations to Christine, Jason, Rob and Boomer on being in the final round of RPG Superstar. Not only am I insanely jealous, I am also very happy to have conversed with you and watched your progress as you outlasted some stiff competition.

I think a lot of us who have been on the outside looking in have also learned a lot. I think watching this contest has made me a better writer and player and DM. I am grateful for the community here, and really looking forward to some exciting adventure proposals.

Congratulations again, and good luck as you ignore the world and lock yourself away to give us your best.

Or, for Boomer, wait til the last minute and throw out another PSA instead. : }

Yup, grats to you all. I'll be looking forward to the final round. Regardless of who wins I think you all have a place in the rpg industry if you choose it.

Well done! We'll be waiting and watching for the final round. (Good luck maybe getting some sleep after that.) Congratulations to all who got this far and to the four advancers.

Legendary Games, Necromancer Games

I want to add my congratulations to you four as well.

To make it to the final four in this competition, as in life, takes an interesting mix of talent, toughness, hard work, perseverence, knowing the pulse of what people like and to some degree even luck. Talent alone isnt enough. There are lots of talented people out there. You guys have consistently shown a level of talent mixed with hard work and toughness and willingness to change that has brought you to the top of this competition. Some say its better to be lucky than good, but while some or all of you have even had things break the right way for you in this competition, I think you often make your own luck.

You guys have all worked hard and have talent and dedication. And if a little luck helped here or there, then you put yourselves in position to take advantage of it.

You all deserve the shot at the final proposal. And I for one cant wait to see what you come up with.

Thanks muchly to all in the Paizo community. The contest has been a ton of work but a ton of fun, with a lot of twists and turns along the way. I've certainly enjoyed talking with the folks here, the judges very much included, and am very happy to have gotten to the final round.

I first entered this contest kind of on a lark... just sent something off, you know, just to see what would happen. You never know what'll happen. Once I got in, though, hey, I was takin' my shot, and I am excited and flattered to have gotten to the final throwdown, up against folks who have produced great stuff all along the way. Everybody shake hands, go back to your corners, and come out rockin', and may the best Superstar win. We shall see whose cuisine reigns supreme! In the immortal words of the Chairman of Iron Chef:

Allez (D&D) cuisine!

Congradulations to Christine, Boomer, Jason and Rob. I have enjoyed reading your entries. If your final entries are anything like the rest of the rounds, I will have a hard time picking one to vote for.

On that note, I have a question for the judges. Would it be possible to extend the voting period for the final round? With 3,000 words per entry to read (each at least 3 times through if the last two rounds are any indication), it is going to take time to decide between these great finalists. I liked everything so much I want to put them into my games. I hate to say it, but with the excellent ideas and writing from these four, the final decision for voters may come down to some nickpicking.

Once again, Congradulations to the Final 4.

Liberty's Edge

Definately, well done guys and gals. Any of you (and a fair few of the others who didn't make it this far) deserve to win this thing, you can all be really proud of the fantastic work you've produced so far

I offer my congratulations to the top four and my sincere apologies to all six that I missed the voting entirely this round. I have no excuses, either. For totally inexplicable reasons, I completely forgot to even check Paizo (which up until about last week I was doing right along side my regular huant at WotC). Until about mid-afternoon today when it suddenly struck me. I feel rather guilty about that, seeing as I considered it a point of good sportsmanship to have done so, so sorry all!

I will try and post my comments on the individual entries probably tomorrow, for what little it's worth! (I can at least take solace in the fact that, after an initial read-through, the four I've have picked made it through.)

Right, I will now go and shoot myself with my coldbeam pistol and fall on my sword in penance.

The Exchange

You four deserve the accolades we are heaping on you, but just think of the red carpet treatment if you win?

Best of Luck to all of you.

I just wanted to chime in and say that I hope Joe and Russell continue grinding away with proposals and inquiries to the various RPG companies, you guys had some great stuff in the various rounds.

Good luck.

Definate congratulations are due to all four of you, Being able to only vote for 2 of you was a difficult thing and I'm glad to see that my entire 'short 4' list made it in.

I can offer no greater accolade to you all then saying I would welcome everything you've produced in this contest into my own campaigns.

Congratulations to you all; You deserve to be the final four. I'm looking forward to what you'll cook up for us for the finale.

Nah. If they don't have my attention after three paragraphs I'm not gonna finish it, and the author can't have my vote. I don't expect that from these four, but I think it would be great for the contest to start and finish on time.

I know,I'm a big meany-head.

Actually, 3000 times 4 is 12000 words. I think that Round Two with what, 1000 words apiece (32000 words) or 500 (which is 16,000 words)?

Congrats! And for once, everyone I voted for and my runner-up made the cut! I can't wait to see round 5!

You keep mentioning this ... does that mean that someone you would have voted for didn't advance? I suspect the voting was not that close, but you never know.

That happened to me Christmas week, I went "oh CRAP!" about a day late, but thankfully all of the ones I'd have voted for advanced. The problem I had that week was that I couldn't narrow it down and left a couple extras selected in the voting booth.

well the fun is kinda out of it for me as the ones i would have really liked to see advance (besides boomer), hasn't. another failure of democracy here really.

But to Mr.Boomer, WRITE ABOUT DWARFS. I think looking back over the PSA's you'll find tordek to be the most consistantly written and funny. WRITE ABOUT THE DWARFS AND I"ll VOTE FOR YOU!

just a suggestion ;-)

No, (I've have voted for Christine and Boomer, I think), but I honestly feel that as one of the top 32, it was really my responsibility, not just to the contest, but to my fellow entrants (whose quality of work demands it) to follow it through to the end. I feel I did them a disservice not to have done so, especially because it simply slipped my mind.

Guilty concience, really.

Adding my congratulations to the amazing quartet of semi-semi-finalists! Id take my hat off to honor you, but zombies dont wear hats!

All six entries were great.

I offer a sincere congratulations to the four finalists.

Its great to know there's so much talent out there!
