Totally, bro. I was all amped up, butterflies going, ready to dig in to the judges' comments and see what they thought, see what the competition had come up with, and then....

Frankly, I hope the judges share their commments with the super six ONLY so that during this round the voting public gets to truly make its own choice based upon the reading of the entries....:)

I say, let the Judges take their time - they've got a CRAZY hard job to do.
With a little luck, the need for the extension boiled down to something like:
Erik: Uh, guys, every single submission here is an A+. Better, actually.
Wolfgang: I know! How can we EVER critique these?
Clark: I would be proud and/or honored to publish ALL of them. Right now.
Erik: But . . . how on earth will the voting public decide the "best" one?
Wolfgang: I weep openly, knowing that two of these amazing competitors will be cut.
Clark: I would rather punch myself in the face with both hands, simultaneously, than allow one of these to be critiqued as "not the best encounter, EVAR."
Erik: We may be in a real bind here, guys. Let's all take a few hours to just bask in the greatness of these six encounters.
Wolfgang: I'm going home to think about how great these entries are. Privately.
Clark: . . . me, too.
