I am disappointed that there wasn't any more follow up, especially creating a template to convert your character. It would be fun to use this game to simulate a tavern brawl in your role-playing game.
This game came out at the end of 3.5 edition, so nothing more was done with it once 4e came out. The difference is the attitude of the players. This is a game about chaos and seeing what happens.
Great game. We have quite a bit of fun with both it and Three Dragon Ante.

Wasn't there supposed to be an "Inn-Fighting 2" coming out?
The Inn Fighting FAQ/Errata may help for some issues.

I love this game, fast paced, and once you learn the rules they're actually really easy (it just doesn't work like many other games, so you gotta puzzle it out at first).

Has anyone else thought of turning this into the geekiest drinking game ever?

I do it this way: Every time you gain victory points, you drink as many points as you gained. Whenever you use the ale action, you drink as many drinks as ales are showing on the dice. (obviously to be played with beer, NOT booze)
Christopher West wrote:The "evil" alignment descriptor causes some characters to be more vulnerable to the Paladin's power attack: evil characters do not get a defense roll against it, if I recall correctly.

We've played the game, worked out the rules, and it is fun.

But there is one question from the rules that we cannot figure out and maybe somebody else can help us.

The rules state that the evil alignment has a specific in game effect but no place in the rules can any of us figure out what that effect is. Any help?
Ok. We've played the game, worked out the rules, and it is fun.

It's really quite fun. Once you get used to the rules, gameplay can move along very briskly. The ale/luck mechanic for healing and getting cards puts a lot of focus on the faces of the dice you're sliding to the next player, so it's exciting whenever three or more of a kind turn up and when the dice are rerolled, dashing the next player's hope of taking advantage of the dice.

The cards really keep gameplay interesting; you never know what's going to happen when your opponent is holding a card; my only lament is that you frequently don't have any cards in your hand since the only way to get them after the game begins is by getting three luck dice and using the luck action to get one.

In our experience, the game can be very competitive right up to the end. Other players are always eroding the leader's victory points, so there are a lot of ups and downs. On more than one occasion I've gotten up to 19 VP (20 are needed to win) and ended up losing the game with 10 or less.

Anyway, the game gets a big thumbs-up from me. :)
I've played several games with my friends. It's really quite fun. Once you get used to the rules, gameplay can move along very briskly.
My gaming buddies and I recently picked it up and have been having a blast with the game. The rulebook isn't very well written (leaving several important questions about gameplay unaddressed), but once you puzzle through some of the more confusing points, it's a ton of fun. I highly recommend it.
Anyone else here playing this game from the creator of Three-Dragon Ante?
