If you only had one vote, where would it go?
The Ghost Hounds of the Rolling Plains. Of course.
But if I had two votes, my second would go to The Enlightened Kingdom of Vramaire.
That being said, I found positive things about each and every entry into this round, and I'm honored to have my work next to them.

[One vote would go to the Stained Peaks. That's as well-realized a society as I think you can encode in 1000 words.
And one the plus side, it's a great re-imagining of one of the hoariest fantasy cliches.
Easy choice, no doubt on my part at all on this one.
I would actually agree whole heartedly with you. I was going to in fact just put The Stained Peaks... then saw you'd beat me to it, so... yes, I concur.
Thank the gods we have more than one vote.

If it was just one vote it would be a hard decision between Vramaire and Stained Peaks for me. I love the way that Stained Peaks is written, but I don't know if 1st level characters could survive adventuring in that environment for long. With all the political intrigues and the less lethal environment (unless you annoy the inquisition) in Vramaire, it seems to me that you have a lot more adventure potential for low level characters in that country.
