Yes, I think the judges will get together and try to provide more guidance on the "commentary" issue, but we wanted you to know going in that you wouldnt have the chance to expand on the message boards so you had to get it all in within the submission.

Frankly, we might just agree that authors should be limited to things like "thanks" and "good point" and "appreciate the feedback" and "vote for me".

We'll let you know...

It appears Dwayne Monroe (Cloak of Rian's MercY) didnt enter a country submission. (needs to be confirmed by Vic/Gary).

That's actually a really, REALLY good idea.

I agree. I might miss the ability to discuss things, but that way would leave no room for argument.

I will third the agree.

It's sometimes hard to take a critique with just a smile and a nod, but it also gives you a chance to sit back and absorb what someone else is saying. Whether you agree with what they're saying or not, that's a different story. :) But, in this case, it will certainly prevent you from accidentally DQ'ing yourself.

I think a fun game will be to respond to all of the comments with one word - and one word exactly.

Then say LOTS of stuff about all of the other countries. LOTS.

Squeegee.

Legendary Games, Necromancer Games

By the way, as to the word count restriction, I find it somewhat ironic that it took us 2232 words to describe the rules for a 1000 word entry :)

So, if the word count restriction for round 3 is 2000 words, we can expect the text describing the rules to approach 10 pages?

I'm gonna need more ink......:]
