I was reading the skinsaw murders on the bus on the way to work today, and I got the the page with the picture of the diseased rat on it. I found it so unnerving I couldn't focus on the adventure. Eventually I gave up and turned the page sideways so I could read the other page. After a few seconds, the guy next to me said "Hey, could you not point that at me? It's pretty creepy"
That rat was the creepiest picture I've seen on a role-playing product.
GREAT. WORK.
Seriously, all the art was incredible at supporting the grim theme of the adventure. The blood spatter was a great touch. (Especially since I've been watching Dexter)

I don't know about that. Disneyland is pretty damn nasty. You have Fantasy Land where all of the princesses are throwing their hooch in your face. King Rat walks around shaking hands with children, giving them VD. Daisy Duke struts around in her denim short shorts. In Frontier Land, you have singing bears all getting it on. Space Mountain lowers I.Q. It's a Small World is the gateway ride to child porn.

The tumor rat thing is definately cool, and creep as hell. But if you wanna talk about the creepiest thing in an RP product, find a copy of the old tzimesce (didn't spell it right, but I think I'm close) clan book from Vampire the Masquerade. The one you had to be 18 to buy. That or the introductory story in the baali clan book from dark ages. I got someone at a session in highschool to start gaging and almost ralph from reading them that story...
