From the stat block given I think Gurtlkep's Init bonus should be +7 not +1. He should get +3 from his Dex and +4 from Improved Initiative.

My copy of D0 already has Gurtlekep's initiative listed as +7. I only checked the PDF, though...not my hardcopy. Regardless, he should definitely be +7.

Your right, my printed copy says +7 as well. I'm not sure what happend when I wrote that message. I can only assume some mean spirited sprite wanted me to make a fool of myself on the internet and thus caused me to miss read the stat block.
