Status Pathfinder 1 28-8-2007

Still no e-mail Pathfinder download (Status Pathfinder 1 still 'Converted subscription')

I'm guessing the problem with the order processing program (see Lisa Stevens post here)
isn't fixed yet?

Vic and I stayed at Paizo until almost midnight tonight and we now think we have shipped out all the Pathfinder subscriptions. If for some reason, you haven't received your email and don't have access to the Pathfinder #1 PDF, please email customer.service@paizo.com and let us know as there is something wrong with your sub probably.

Thanks for everyone for your patience.

Thanks Lisa and Vic for the effort you've put into all of this. I've sent an email to customer support because unfortunately I indeed have not received any confirmation email that my order shipped. It's status in my order history is still 'Converted Subscription'. I emailed Customer Support about this 5 days ago but still have not gotten a reply about it. I re-sent that mail just now.

Again thanks for all of your efforts up to now.

Just got my copy yesterday. It's a nice-looking piece of work, I hope you get yours soon.

I received mine last week, -- (I think on Thursday the 23rd)

High quality publication and the adventure path is extremely well written. But I was a bit let down by the other material. I typically don't use pre-published adventures - so aside from a few monsters and perhaps adapting the city maps into my campaign, there just wasn't much for me.

Still I certainly am willing to give the Paizo crew a chance here I hope with enough customer feedback they can achieve a balance that will keep everyone interested.

OK - I've sent an email as I haven't received access to the pdf. Thanks for the update!

No need to send further e-mails—Gary is already on it. We'll do our best to get the stuck orders moving as quickly as possible, and to ensure that this is a one-time problem.

What type of packaging is Pathfinder coming in? I have mine sent to my work address...and I'm in charge of all the mail. So, what are my greedy eyes supposed to look for? Priority envelope, plain brown one? Just curious...

If it's shipped UPS, it's in a box; otherwise it's in a sturdy white cardboard mailer.

Just received my email with access to the pdfs! Great stuff - thanks guys!

I thought I was a Pathfinder Charter Subscriber - I signed up to convert my Dragon mag subscription into a Pathfinder subscription back when the announcement was first made. But now I see the thingy next to my name is missing the word 'Charter' - what must I have done wrong?

To be a charter subscriber, you had to sign up for an ongoing subscription before a certain date—just transitioning issues to Pathfinder didn't count towards "charterhood."

So, then it's plain packaging if not UPS? I guess I'm asking if Paizo or Pathfinder is emblazened across it somehow...

That's what's confusing me - I thought I did have an ongoing subscription! It's been in my shopping cart for a while now..

Was there something more that had to be done? Was there a subscription option where I was supposed to pay a year in advance or something?

I work with the mail too. I believe it is a USPS Priority Flat Rate Envelope.

It sure looked like one, but I didn't actually keep it so I can't be 100% sure.

Any status updates available? With every positive review or comment that appears on the web my hunger for Pathfinder 1 increases... please feed meeee... :)

Hi Everyone, longtime lurker, first time poster.

I live in the states and have to report that I have not yet received my Pathfinder #1 either. But I was able to download the pdf file about a week ago.

It's a plain white mailer with no markings other than the shipping label.

You have to actually finish checking out after you put it in your cart. View your cart, and click the "Proceed to checkout" button.

You don't pay in advance—we charge your card each month as we ship your volume.

Sadly, you're part of a select group that fell afoul of not one but two different problems. We've solved them, and your order should be going out today. We appreciate your patience, and are really sorry for the delay. We expect things should go much more smoothly for international subscriptions for Pathfinder 2.

The quoted delivery time for you is 3–10 business days, where day 1 is 8/21. Given that you're on the opposite side of the country, I'd expect it to be a lot closer to 10 than to 3 days...

Vic, I just wanted to say that I too fell into the international subscriber problem... but I got my confirmation email and downloaded the PDFs last night, so its all good now.

I'd just like to say thanks to you and the rest of the Paizo staff for keeping us informed with updates like this one, and resolving the problem.

For those interested in seeing how the envelope looks (it's really not that exciting ;-)): Click Here

Well at the least I'm finally part of a select group... that has to count for something :).

And thank you for the update, it is most appreciated. Things may not have gone smoothly, but the updates and commitment (working overtime, weekends, etc.) you all at Paizo showed to resolve the problems have guaranteed I'll be a loyal costumer for a very long time to come. Thank you.

I love the fact that you took a picture of your first Pathfinder.

I love that. :)

I SURE DID!

Spoiler:
Shhh, I won't tell Cosmo that it was actually a Dungeon Magazine I ordered separately that was in that envelope and that I took some more snapshots of the corners, just to show the abuse it had taken on the way over here... ;-D

Gah! You've got to be kidding me! ;P I thought that was automatic! I thought it was only there to tell me I was getting it monthly. Grrrr.

I still haven't gotten my hardcopy, and my information says it shipped on the 13th. Is the listed date wrong, or what?

The "My Subscriptions" page has several problems at the moment, and yep, that date is just plain wrong. Your order history should show your accurate ship date: 8/20. I'd expect it will be showing up in the next couple of days.

Well, on the plus side, at least you found out before you missed a volume...

WooHoo! It's being shipped! Currently looking through the PDF and well... it's great.

Wow, you are the man! Thank you! Ya know, the funny thing is, that I got mine in the mail not more than 45 mins after posting.

Looking through it, I'm once again thoroughly impressed by Paizo and their staff. On some other game boards, I'm force-fed marketing spin and left feeling ridiculed, lost and confused. Here, everything is warm and comforting. Basically, Paizo is a delicious, warm cup of soup. Perhaps with crackers...that's your preference. When I'm in a good area money-wise, I'm absolutely signing up for this thing month to month. Thank you, Paizo.

Hey Vic, its now 17 days and still no Pathfinder #1. What are my options? I'm betting #2 will arrive before I ever see #1.

Actually it's only been 11 business days since the 21st... since you don't count, Saturdays, Sundays, or Labor day. I've had a gamemastery module take 17 business days last month, so don't count yourself out yet, give it til tuesday or Wed before you count it as lost.

Remember - the US postal service hates us puts our beloved books at the bottom of their processing piles! (this paragraph was pure speculation on my part)

17 business days! Still no print copy of PathFinder #1. (Unless it comes today). Come Monday I will consider it a loss and try to get another copy.
