I do not know if anyone else has mentioned this but I received my copy of Hollow's Last Hope D0 and I am very impressed by the quality of the product. I have not read it yet but just the quality of the graphics, the paper, etc. This is the finest quality product in the marketplace.
Thank you Paizo for supporting our game in the best way possible. I was a fan before and now have moved into the die hard fan category.
Peace

If it helps, I *have* read it, and am still quite happy with it. SO much so that now I'm torn between using the modules and using the Pathfinder AP's. Decisions, decisions. There's a lot jammed into just a few pages, but not so much as to make the GM feel either overwhelmed or obligated to follow the module as written step by step. It suggests where it should, and leads you by the hand where it should. Sweet. Oh and yes, the Tatzylwyrm is very very cool.

Yeah, I d/l-ed the pdf and I've done a cursory read. The layout is great, I like the new critter, but overall I'm appalled by the adventure itself. You guys must employ several psions because it looks like a couple of adventure ideas that I was going to submit to Dungeon (but never did) mashed together. Worst still, Last Hope is handled better than one of said adventure ideas. You guys really need to stop psychically stealing my adventures. ;)
Really, though, I'm looking forward to running this at some point. It looks like a lot of fun. Cheers!

Just finished reading it --
Love --
1) The tatzlwyrm. A tough critter with a great illustration. Can't wait to run it.
2) The two unique magic items. Perfect for low-level adventurers, and different than your standard cloak of resistance +1.
3) The local names for regular animals. Firefoot, Dundliers, etc. This is great, and makes me glad I will be immersing my group in this campaign world
4) Graypelt. That sly cunning dog (pun intended) is going to be a challenge for my PC's for sure.
5)The Random Encounter Chart. Some interesting and ominous signs are given to what may be happening in Darkmoon Vale.
6) and as mentioned many times -- great artwork, layout, design, etc.
Great job guys, this is a quality product and you obviously cannot beat the price. Keep it up!

Well actually I was speaking literally. I was speaking of the quality of the actual pages themselves.

As far as I know... the same answer applies. Pathfinder's being printed by the same printer as the GameMastery line, and all the paper stock should be the same.

Thanks Mr. Jacobs. If the quality of the module is any indication of the quality of Pathfinder, then it is well worth the money. You guys continue to impress.

Just read my print copy of D0, and skimmed the pdf of D1.
I'm very pleased by the overall script, the variety of the encounters, the very helpful stat blocks - especially the tactics section, and above all by the beauty of the art, layout, and materials used. (I'm not above admitting I'm nearly as interested in the beauty of the physical object as I am in the ideas and words that it contains.) And the two fit together seamlessly.
First rate all 'round.

Will Pathfinder have similar random encounter charts? I love the fact that there are encounters for roleplaying included and it's not just a random monster chart.
If the adventure warrents the inclusion of charts like that, yes. Pathfinder #1 does not, because the adventure doesn't really need them—there's no large exploration of the wilds in the first adventure.

I love D0 too and am running it for my group tonight; only thing I would've really loved to see (and this'd apply to Pathfinder and other modules too) is a breakdown of the core classes and they may or may not fit into the game like in Shackled City. I can tell just from reading it that it'd be a little tougher to put a Monk or Wizard in; but I loved the advice for trying anyway.

I have read half of D1 now too. I am a very happy camper. I also love the PDF files we get. Printed the mpas last night on heavy paper and put them in the module. I am so pleased... I have adventured in the Fogotten Realms for more years than I care to remember and for the first time I will probably change worlds when it is time to begin a new campaign. I can hardly wait for Pathfinder to start.
