Nick is getting married next week!!! WOOT!

Before this he is heading to the North Shore of Oahu away from computers and writing to enjoy a week-long gaming bachelor party...

...after the wedding he is heading to reclusive Moloka'i to enjoy wedded bliss.

I will not be on the boards for two weeks. Don't all cheer at once. ;-)

Bye all! See ya in a few!

Nick

Congratulations Nick. Also, you seem to have left off the instructions as to how to get to your bachelor party. Please post so that a bunch of us Paiozians can roadtrip out to celebrate. Heathy tells me he has an aqua-car or some such nonesense.

Liberty's Edge

It is not!!! The military-industrial complex that is the Star Chamber that controls the U.S. government doesn't want YOU to have the aquacar.

But my ninja squirrel minions aquired me one.

Two words of advice... "Lava Flow". Mention those words as often as you can to any beverage server you can see and you won't regret it. If you don't want alcohol order then virgin but they are divine either way.

Congrats!

congrats and good luck! we'll still be here when you get back. ;)

May you roll a natural 20 on your married life check! How is that for a send off! Congrats.

The Exchange

Congrats, Nick! Live well and be happy.
As to directions to the Bachelor party, go to the Cali coast, turn west, look for the small plot of rock jutting out of the Pacific.;p
I hope she games, Nick.
Good job, brudder.

*cheers*
Hooray! May you confirm your criticals and enjoy your nupital bliss!

Please say hi to Donna Spier at the Moloka'i Cargo Agency for me, Nick! And watch out for snakes and radio-controlled cars rigged with bombs.

Congrats Nick!

Have a wonderful wedding.

Remember, when things go wrong (if they do, which is normal), that those things are the things you will laugh about years down the line.... also, they help you remember the day, and as I recall from my own wedding, anything that will help you remember is a good thing (anxiety and stress from the day can make it seem like a blur)!

God, I remember that movie.

Congratulations, Mr. Nick. :) Be happy. Must be nice to start your wedding where so many have their honeymoons.

I did see a for real's aqua car today. It was a "geek moment" I s'pose. We saw an aqua car, and I told my wife what Sebastian said, and she said I'm a dork.

Congratulations Nick. May the Wedding and Honeymoon not provide material for a cliffhanging nailbiting adventure filled with dastardly villains(at least not for your sake) ;-)

Congratulations, and best wishes!

Congratulations Nick!

Congratulations, Nick! And may you ever be so happy as you seem to be right now.

Good luck Nick. Mariage is lots more fun than being a bachlor. 'specially if your wife games with you :)

Gongxi! Gongxi! Does this mean I have to send you a hongbao stuffed with cash? Zhu ni hunyin yukuai, bai tou xie lao! And all that.

Congrats, Nick! Just don't pull an H.P. Lovecraft and misplace your latest manuscript final draft at the train station on your wedding night! :-)

Congratulations, Mr. Logue. May you enjoy a long and happy marriage.

Congrats to you from me as well, Nick!!

I must admit, one of the happiest things in my life is having a loving, wonderful, beautiful, GAMER spouse at my side helping raise our bouncin' baby boy.

When I proposed, I didn't ask her to marry me; I asked her to be my wife. To marry someone is one day. To be a spouse is every single day. May you and your spouse have a long marriage of love, joy and abundance.

Woot, I say! Woot! Nick, the only thing tempering my joy is the thought that you may have joined forces with a female version of yourself.

In which case, God help us all.

Nick, I extended my heartiest congratulations some time ago, but I'll repost them here as well. Attaboy!

If she said you, her husband, was a dork for the aqua car comment, I shudder to think what she said about me. I'm guessing: "Isn't that the guy you always say is a total moron? He sure sounds like it."

I actually saw an article in the local paper a couple years back about an aqua car. They were produced in (I believe) the 50's or 60's. The ones in the article were full of tail fins and chrome.

Ah yes, a reaction with which I am also well acquainted. Now you, too, Nick, can have the experience of being called a dork by the love of your life. BTW, congratulations! :-)

Moloka'i... Isn't that where the leper colony was? And the giant Dole pineapple plantation? Not that they grow giant Dole pineapples... Lepers and giant pineapples, not sure where I'm going with that....

It is the island with the leper colony. My understanding is that some lepers remain on the island. My best friend is dating a girl from Moloka'i. Her family owns the only grocery store on the island or some such thing. I am constantly questioning her sanity given that running the family business involves staying on a lovely tropical island that most of us would kill to inhabit but for the incredible cost of living and total lack of viable employment to support said cost, but that's neither here nor there.

Gratz, Nick! I wish you both all the best. Have a wonderful bachelor party, may the wedding go off with out any major hitches, and may your honeymoon be what dreams are made of!

Liberty's Edge

Congratulations, Nick! May your marriage be eternal and eternally blessed. :)

You watch some baaaaaad movies, Erik. And the sad part is, I watched them too...

Nick: have a lovely honeymoon! I miss my yearly trips to Hawaii :)

Congratulations!

As I write this, there's a thunderstorm raging on outside, and my wife is 5 feet away from me clipping her toenails while watching "Scrubs" reruns. And somehow, that's the best thing in the world. Being married is weird like that.

Liberty's Edge

Hmm....no Logue pings in over a week.
