Oh My Gosh, Orgosh (spoilerish)

Ok, the title is a bit cheesy, but Orgosh has to be one of the coolest villians ever! The idea by itself is mildly fascinating, but the image solidifies this debased little ball of vileness into a potential archvillian the likes the Prime Material Plan has not seen since...I'm not even sure who is cool enough to even compare him to.

The tentaculated staff is perfect! Perfect! Look at it twitch and wiggle, muwaaaAAAaaa...

I am trying to figure out a way to foreshadow his coming - maybe in the Bullwug Gambit the frogmen might mention a brother who has ascended?

Orgosh was indeed cool. A bullywug necromancer lich? That's...new...holy shazbot, look at the stats! I do like the tentacled staff - that was a nice touch.

It would be pretty cool if Orgosh stays alive after the PCs take down Demogorgon to make him transform into a Demilich for some epic level villainry.

Done! Demogorgon has his phylactery so even if the characters kill the little necro (unlikely) he'll be back.

I doubt Mr Demogorgon filed the phylactery under Gorgosh in his supply cabinet (thanks to be chaotic and all)...

While reading "Into the Maw", "Orgosh" stood out right away! He Is freakin cool, I never really thought of a bullwug Lich Necromancer...but I'll be damned If he Isn't cool!

I'm going to add Forcecage to Orgosh's spell list. No save, no spell resistance, and teleportation is blocked in the prison. Nothing like killing a fighter (slowly) with Summon Swarm.

Im really looking forward to running this AP. For this module, Im planning on running Divided's Ire with a decidedly "Hostel" (the movie) type feel.

Orgosh is cool, true, but you'd want to restat him. As written he's weaksauce vs. a 16th-17th level party. My group's wizard could probably skull-drag Orgosh in a one-on-one mage duel.

My players think he's way more badass than he is because the first time they saw him, they noticed his projected image down the hall, about 100 feet away, just standing there silently and watching them. The next instant it was right in front of them (he just moved the image), so as far as they can tell, he teleported himself, without casting a spell, in the area of Divided's Ire that blocks teleportation. So they figure he has plot armor or magical lich rule-breaking abilities or something like that.

Spoiler:
@TheWhiteknife: email me at blues man charlie at gmail dot com and I will send you all my STAP PFRPG conversions. I started converting at Serpents of Scuttlecove and I've nearly finished through Enemies of My Enemy so far.

May I send you an eMail, also? I am currently DMing ST and we finished the first chapter this friday, starting "Bullywug Gambit" next week.

I really could use some conversion-material to FR.

What's that you say?
STAP conversions while I'm currently DM-ing Lightless Depths? That would be uber useful! Would you mind sending me one too, please?

It's foolish.child at gmail.com.

Thanks in advance!

Well, if you're handing out PF conversions for STAP ... then I'd love to have a copy too! :)

Sent to you and Bellona. Lightless Depths is maybe my 2nd favorite STAP adventure... Enemies of My Enemy is shaping up to be my favorite, but we're not there yet (just started Wells of Darkness). Lightless Depths cranks the creepy factor up to 11. I also had 2 or 3 PC deaths. Very scary stuff in there.

Thank you very much, good sir! :)

Due to too many other campaign irons in the fire, I won't be able to run STAP any time soon, but it definitely is on my "to run" list. Until then I'm collecting all the available STAP-related material that I can find.

They've just reached Golismorga and met their first Beholder :-)

(I'm swapping Kopru and Behemoths for Psionic Illithid and Beholders.)

That'll teach them to let me let them use home-brew prestige classes and plenty of splat books AND action points! :-)

I'm looking forward to the wretch, I'll be using Turin the Mad's version!

Wow. My group just reached Golismorga last week and met their first beholder the week before! With a troupe of 10th level morlock rogues.

I've not swapped anything, but added a vampire partner for Rakis-ka, added mid level serpentfolk from Serpent's Skull, and determined that the non-euclidean geometry of Golismorga makes the city nearly impossible to navigate traditionally.

Oh, and their sleep has been stalked by some creepy entity who actually killed and masqueraded as the aboleth. (They didn't find its corpse though) They also found forty morlock corpses who'd been slain in two rounds, presumably killed by the same guy.
