You're right on that one. It was good, but way too much dialogue especially at the front end. The second part with the new batch of ladies was way better.
Heathansson wrote:I agree. I liked Deathproof much more than Planet Terror. Rodriguez is super cheesey and it's fun and everything, but I'd much rather watch a Tarantino film. The big criticism with Deathproof was that it's too talky, but the talky part was well written and you get to see the villain built up a lot before they get their comeuppance. Apparently the hilarious fake trailers aren't included in the dvds, which pisses me off.Now I saw Deathproof. That was the best of the two to me.
That's one of the wildest car chase movies I ever seen. BAMYOW!!!!
OMG, I was totally tensed up.

I definitely like Planet Terror better; the gore is soooooo cool! The only real thing I liked about Death Proof was who I consider the hottest actress working in Hollywood today: Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Too bad her role was so small, but the cheerleading outfit was worth it. I've never seen the attraction guys have for Rosario Dawson; I don't think she's even remotely attractive. Guess it's a good thing everybody has different tastes. I might get to keep Ms. Winstead for my very own! Until my wife finds out of course.
