What types of breath weapon (if any) do Dracoliches get? Is it the same as in life? Cuz I'd love to see a Cone of Withering. Does such a thing exist?
Forgotten Realms has a monster called the Deep Dragon which is, in fact, a true dragon that lives in the Underdark. It's breath weapon is a Cone of Enervation, bestowing up to 2d4 negative levels at Great Wyrm.

Get real, they shouldn't even be considered as real dragons. In fact, those overgrown butterflies should be wiped from the pages of gaming history.
Dude, you seriously need to take a hit of the faerie dragon and mellow out, man.
EDIT: And it is NOT a gateway dragon! That's a myth projected by a repressive Theological-Oligarchical combine!

I was always fond of the Shadow Dragon's Energy Drain Breath Weapon. Makes Shadow Dragons even more deadly than your average wyrm.
And sorry to the Roger Eberts above; but I happen to love disaster movies (even bad ones). So I own (and love to watch) both The Core and The Day After Tomorrow. And Armageddon. And Deep Impact. And Earthquake. The list goes on and on.
;p

Me likey Cone of Envervation. I would love to describe its effect on a whole mess of PCs at once. But if it could wither limbs as well. . . Oooh. Nasty stuff.
I voted for Line of Lightning earlier, but I have been giving a lot of thought to a Line of Acid as well. Its just fun imagining a PC getting hit with the equivalent of a firehose full of flesh melting acid.
This is of course, opposed to the Faerie Dragon's "Hit of Acid" breath weapon. Although both can cause PCs to melt into the floor if they fail their save.

My vote is for the faerie dragon euphoria gas cloud.
Hey man, you got some faerie dragon breathe?
Wasn't thier a dungeon adventure where a group of goblins held a faerie dragon so as to get high?
Nah, man, that was just sumpin' we were talkin' about on the way to the convenience store to get munchies when we had the munchies.
(Yes, I think it actually was, but I don't remember how long ago)

Hehehe!
You'll never find me lucky charms!
It was the closest thing to a leprechaun I could find in the avatars, but now that I did...it's affecting my mind.
Follow the rainbow! It'll lead you to me pot o' gold!!!

Eh? The chlorine gas is still there, it just does acid damage.
But if we really want to nit-pick, the green dragon's breath is never explicitly identified as chlorine (though the dragon as a whole does smell of one). Back in D&D cartoon, when Tiamat attacked the kids with her green head, all they needed was to cover their nostrils and mouths and eyes, but Diana and Bobby, the most exposed skin-wise, weren't acid-burned.

Back in 1st edition chlorine gas was the green dragon's attack.
I guess one could use the D&D cartoon to illustrate a game rule... but that lil barbarian Bobby would have fallen his first day in the realm, down into a sloshy puddle of Bobbysauce. ;)

I voted Cone of Fire because it is a classic dragon ability (and ... Fire...Heh...Heh).
My second favorite would be the violet, crystaline lozenge from the Amethyst Dragon in Monster Manual 2 (They can also breathe a line of concussive force, but that's not quite as cool). My third favorite would be the cone of dehydration from the topaz dragon.

Favorite breath weapon?
Why?
Hmm. Well Cone of paralysis gas is always fun. disarm the pesky intruders, gut their mage and cleric is a generally good idea, then sit down and tell the surviors who they work for.
Cone of energy drain is just terrifying. Shadow dragons are scary.
in the end though, Line of lightning. Got to love my blues.
(Storytime. Draconomicon says that blues build up static electricity. We had a party with a blue and a silver in it. Blue kept touching the silver, shocking him ;-)
