Despite my comments about hipsters above, I've generally found them unreliable when sussing out whether music is good or not. I don't know, maybe there was one too many times when a hipster would come into my store looking for a Skip Spence album but would never in a million years listen to The Jefferson Airplane.

Hipsters spend a lot of time b$%%+ing and moaning about nonsense, really.

There is an extended (half hour) version of that video floating around as Fight For Your Right (Revisited). It has additional cameo appearances and a bunch of dialogue at various points. Especially funny / bizarre is the extended sequence that continues where the Make Some Noise video finishes.

I actually don't know anything about her. My favorite part is when the kid on the skateboard hands her the joint while riding on the hood of the car. He looks so happy after he hands it off, I can only imagine that it was, like, the fifth or sixth take.

But, anyway, yes, it is hypnotic. When I first discovered, I listened to it something like 50 times in a row!

Just read post on FAWTL--sorry for accidentally talking smack.

I remember my uncle (a biology teacher in NY) griping about his time as a student teacher in NH. The quote was something like "After a few months, I started to wonder if the state motto of 'Live Free or Die' should be changed to 'Die Young and Ignorant'."
