For those caught up on your watching...

Spoiler:
looks like this weeks episode pits the guys against the angels. That sure didn't take long.

I've been wondering since we first met Castiel (and even more so since meeting Uriel!) if Sam's power is going to work on Angels possessing human bodies the way it works on Demons possessing human bodies.

After all, I can't imagine that Azazel's favorite weapon was designed to fight *demons*...

I am curious what kind of smack down the brothers can bring against the angels if they need to.
Scarab Sages

I'm very much looking forward to this week's episode, especially since I should be getting it in HD for the first time. Huzzah!

Scarab Sages RPG Superstar 2009 Top 32

I'm a week behind you guys, but this week (for me) was the Wishing Well episode.

Spoiler:

Teddy was frickin' hillarious! (Almost as funny as the B&W Skinchanger)
Nice Guest Spot by Ted Raimi too. Now if only they could get Bruce Campbell onboard my life would be complete! =D

I have been thinking the same thing myself. Intriguing idea...

Scarab Sages

Last night's episode kicked ass in my opinion.

Spoiler:
Watching the angels and demons go head to head was pretty cool. Uriel kicked the crap out of those two lesser demons, but I wonder what would have happened to Castiel if Alastair hadn't been whacked in the head by Dean. Seeing Anna go all blast of holy light was a nice finish.

Also, Dean's revelations of what happened to him in Hell were pretty wild. I wasn't expecting him to have become a torture of his fellow damned.

It sucks that we have to wait until 15 January for anything new.

Gotta agree

Spoiler:
The whole demon on angel action was awesome. Plus there were some funny moments. "Reality not porn, Dean".

But not coming back till January sucks big time.

Here's another question for ya:

Spoiler:
Is Alistair the demon remains of Alistair Crowley?

Yeah... There was funny parts..

Spoiler:
I love when they are all in the Impala, Sam and Dean are in the front seat and the girls are in the back. Dean looks at the girls in the rearview mirror.
Ruby: "What?"
Dean: "Nothing, It’s just... an angel and a demon riding in the back seat. It’s like the set up to a bad joke. Or a penthouse forum letter."
Sam: "Dude, reality - porn,"
Dean: "You call this reality?"

This has been my favorite episode this season.

Silver Crusade

Sam and Dean's car is for sell just down the road from my house. Well, a very close version. Dark green instead of black and within a year of make and model. Very good, body wise and only 2000 dollars. I drive by it every day on the way to my daughters school.

~grins~ I need to borrow season 1 & 2 from a friend to get caught up, then start to watch this show.

Yep, trust me you'll watch it and practically race out to buy all three. =D

All I can say about Season 1 is this: Don't watch Bloody Mary alone or with the light off. I did and I still have nightmares about it. ;)

Moth: Are you serious. That doesn't even suck hairy donkey balls, that is more like whale ball sucking in it's crappitude!
Why would they do that to us? Why damn you Channel 10, after all of the patronage I show you!!!

I know, after all those years of watching the Simpsons every day! Sometimes 2 or 3 times a day...

I don't know, gut feel. They didn't say anything like "it won't be shown next week" or "it will be back in three weeks" that I noticed, and we're fast approaching non-ratings season (if we're not already there). They did the same thing with Burn Notice a few weeks earlier.

[tangent] Ooh, can't wait for that one to start up again, too! [/tangent]

Kind of a handy coincidence that Anna the Angel's parents named her Anna, so that we wouldn't get confused when Castiel and Uriel started talking about her...

Heh.

Damn it.

I just looked in the Telly Guide and Stupid "Army Wives" & "The Ex List" is on. That sucks! =(

EDIT: Oh and speaking of the Simpsons. They have taken that off too and put "The Bold and the Beautiful" on every day at 6pm instead!
WTF!!!

Love this show.

Scarab Sages

I'm looking forward to the new episodes starting this week. This season has been really cool.

Scarab Sages

Yeap just under a day to go.

All the seasons have been good. Anyone played the RPG?

Scarab Sages

That episode last night was kind of creepy. Whoever wrote it must have been a fan of The People Under the Stairs. The only problems I had with it was...

Spoiler:
(1)Where the hell did the brother come from? Until the kid mentioned him, we had nothing, not even from the mom's diary.

(2) If those kids were trapped in the basement all those years, how the hell did they learn how to spell?

(3) What took those kids so long to break out of the basement and kill the old man?

Silver Crusade

Greatest name for a TV Episode: Criss Angel is a Douchebag. On Now.

Same questions here--

Spoiler:
and not only how did they learn to spell, but grammatically differentiate between to, two and too correctly.
o-O

My least favorite episode to date.

Too true, and a really enjoyable episode. "Douchebag" will be my word for the day, I think.

I kept expecting Tim Curry to show up in drag and start singing to Brad.....I mean Barry.

Silver Crusade

Sam is investigating Crystal Lake and Dean is looking for a mass murderer in a mine staff. Didn't their Dad teach them not split up.

Watched tonight's episode it was ok. I think I went to that High School.

I haven't particulaly watched much of this show, however, I can tell you that those of you who like the show and are looking to get your fanboy "Supernatural" - Rp moments in, go check out Margaret Weiss Productions. They make rpg's such as the d20 version of Dragonlance (fitting since Weiss half of the team responsible for their even being a Dragonlance), as well as a RPG for the shows "Supernatural" and "Battlestar Gallactica".

Liberty's Edge

I can't imagine any HS named for President Truman calling themselves the 'Bombers'...

Why did it take 11 years for the kid's ghost to start its mischief?

Silver Crusade

Thought last weeks episode was good. They are starting too set-up the split between Sam and Dean. The Siren was interesting looking. Wife happened to notice that the "dancers" names were all Disney Princess names. Crazy show.

Scarab Sages

I read on the Sci-fi channel's news site that they are going to add a third brother - a younger half-brother from an affair the father had while demon-hunting. So far, he is only supposed to appear in one episode.

Crap!

Hey, I have missed the whole Season 4 angel thing. So Dean escapes Hell and all. The angels do the whole human possession thing as well? Do they appear as black clouds outside the body? Does Sam find out what happened when Lilith tried to fry him and nothing happened?

So many questions...

One thing, does Ruby return in a new human suit?

Spoiler:

The angels bodies are their own. Celestial made flesh... flesh-like.

As to why Lilith couldn't fry Sam, no clue. Hasn't been expanded on yet. But may be that Sam's powers are/weere stronger at that time.

Ruby is back. The human she's in was brain dead so no forcing of the victim. She mostly did this for Sam's sake after they get into an argument (shown in a flashback) over demon and morals.

Scarab Sages

My new theory:

Spoiler:
Sam Winchester's entire life has been a series of events designed to prepare him to become the vessel for Lucifer. Azazel did the whole "blood in the mouth" thing to create a part-human/part-demon host that would be strong enough to hold the spirit of Lucifer.

Not quite:

Spoiler:
In Castiel's first appearence he says that the body he is in was that of a man who prayed for and welcomed the angel riding along and wanted to host him. Sort of a Hardcore Religious Type.

Sam's drinking Ruby's blood, this can't be good. Angels ganking angels...nice

Great episode last night....

Spoiler:
The Prophet Chuck - classic! They've got to bring him back some more.

And I loved the thing with the archangel - I just wish we could have seen him smite Lilith - that would have been cool.

Zachariah is creepy.

I thought it was another excellent episode.

Spoiler:
Although I was looking forward to seeing the actual appearance of the archangel, as well. The whole prophet thing was hilarious, especially when the brothers were researching the Supernatural books. "Sam fans, Dean fans, and slash fans. You know, both of us." Pure comedy.

The direction and scope of this show have been incredible since the first season. Weak episodes exist here and there, naturally, but the entire storyline is incredibly solid. This is a gem of television entertainment.

Sovereign Court

I've strayed away for a while, been too busy... but last night's show has reeled me back in. Now to spend a few hours this weekend catching up on back episodes (gotta love AppleTV!)

I find most interesting how Sam and Dean come off somewhat differently in High Definition, in a good way.

Silver Crusade

Darn it, I missed it do to ER last show. Wifes fav.

Liberty's Edge

Awesome episode--only this show could take an otherwise ridiculous concept and make it cool. I thought not seeing the Archangel was better than if we'd seen him (though I thought Uriel was a strange choice for earlier episodes, since I was taught he was an archangel, as well).

Silver Crusade

Season Ending and possible last episode thursday. Awesome

I've wondered this too--after they save the world from the Apocalypse, what else is there to do? Especially considering that everything in their lives has led to this moment.

EDIT:

I guess this answers the question
