Anyone?
It's like... this dude... and he's, like, doing this... thing... with a buncha doohickeys.
It rules.
Oh, yeah... and there's a blue thingy!
Customer Service. That's my job. Yep.
:D
That just sounds so cool. I'm getting adventure ideas just visualizing all that in my head.

To further underscore the pure randomness of the US postal service, I'm in Minneapolis as well and have not recieved mine yet.
I think my mailman is an aberration, but that's a conversation for another thread....
Oooo.. What type of aberration? Strange abilities, bizarre anatomy, or alien mindset?

Cosmo, you are my hero. I don't think I've ever had a dynamic scene with animated Egyptian statuary (uh-oh....another golem argument) described with such grace. >:)

Alien Mindset? You bet!
Postman
medium sized abberation
SA mimicry - looks just like a normal human; random mail delivery - it is impossible for a human mind to determine the schedule of delivery, Will Save DC 10 or going insane while trying to figure it out.
SD immune to critizism and improvement proposals, redirection - all personal critic is redirected to the "postal system"

Thanks, I wasn't actually fishing for a replacement, just grousing. I'm sure it will get here eventually, but for some reason I've had really slow postal service here in the last few months. The only issues that went missing permanently were 2 of Dragon, and you guys were very kind to issue replacements for those.
Paizo: best customer service this side of Jeeves the Butler. :)

So as a public service announcement I'd like to let everyone know that the best way to expedite your magazine delivery is to talk smack about him/her on a public message board. The previously mentioned aberration delivered my copy of 138.
My review so far: Wow. Absolutely wow. I started subscribing to Dungeon after picking up a copy of the issue that started AoW. #138 SMOKES that issue, and STAP hasn't even started yet. a HUGE pat on the back to everyone involved.
And to answer the previous poster's question- yes- BIG preview of STAP. Can't.... wait....

Postal System is, of course, their plane of origin -- the 423rd plane of the Abyss. They are ruled by the demon lord Postmaster General.
This inscrutable demon lord is plotting to gain control of neighboring planes by transforming them into Zone Improvement Planes (think about it) :)

I'm not worried. We all know that in order to get approve for his "Zoning Improvement" plans he will have to appear before the Zoning Board (aka the Dark Eight). The board will no doubt kill the plan with red tape.

My issue arrived on Tuesday. My son (who's almost 4) brought it to the house and told my wife, "Daddy's magazine came. He'll be so happy."
But anyhow, haven't had a chance to read through much of it yet, just read up through the Styes adventure, thinking about incorporating that into my current campaign.

My 5 year old went to get the mail - "Daddy! Daddy! Your Dungeons & Dragons magazine came!" - pieces of other dropped mail trailing behind her across the house, securely holding on to the only thing that matters.
The Weavers is very cool, haven't read any of the others.

That's awesome. Kudos to your kids for recognizing the important stuff. :P

I got issue # 138 yesterday. Really liked the "Mud Sorcerer's Tomb" may have to run that for my Sunday group sometime. And I also liked the Savage Tide AP preview. Looking forward to next issue, and of course curious to see where this AP will fit into conversions for Forgotten Realms and Eberron. (I'm guessing Nelanthar Isles for FR, and Lhazaar Principalities for Eberron.) Could be worng though.

My kids are 3 and 1. I just put my Dungeons in order on a shelf, and they knocked them over and stepped all over them.

Grrrr... and I will have to wait two weeks (at least) before I can read it...
Oh well - a lesson in patience...Stefan
Which means that the mail delivery time from the United States to Germany approximates that from the United States to Oregon... I've stopped hoping to receive anything in less than three weeks - quicker delivery is just a happy surprise. So, if it makes you feel any better, I'm sure you'll have it before me.

I've gotten pretty good results here in Bend. Maybe I should just drive up to the top of Willamette or McKenzie pass and chuck it at ya. You'd probably get it faster. :)

I know he has freedom of movement. 5 years I've lived in my house and he's never ONCE used the sidewalk....
They do that. When I was a kid, our postman tried to sue us because he broke his ankle tripping over a sprinkler head in our front lawn. Guess HE didn't have freedom of movement, 'cause that entangle spell I put on it took him out. He he.
Edit--oh yeah. This thread reminded me to go downstairs and get my mail. #138 is here (Lansing MI). Guess I know I'll be spending my evening.

Another Utah subscriber here, and I have not received mine yet. I'm hoping for Friday so that I can take it with me on my weekend trip...
