Going to Portland weekend of the 18th to 20th. Where's a good gaming store? (I seem to have missed it the last time I was there, though Powells was excellent.)
The best game stores in the Portland area are usually in the suburbs. My personal favorite is Rainy Day Games (http://www.rainy-day-games.com/) way out in Hillsboro.

Ancient Wonders is down in Tualatin, if you were wondering. Just north of Boones Ferry Road on... um... Tualatin Road, I think...?
There's a shop up in Vancouver called Amazing SomethingSomething. Adventures? Stories? It's on Fourth Plain over by Clark College. It's kind of a comic/gaming shop with a slightly higher emphasis on comics.
Bridgetown Hobbies has traditionally had the best selection I ever found, but I haven't been there in a few years.
Powell's (downtown around 11th and Burnside) has a pretty good selection of used and OOP games. Or they did a few years ago. Of course, Powell's has a pretty good selection of everything. ;D
I have been to all three shops mentioned.
By far my favorite is Bridgetown Hobbies. The have a great selection and very helpful staff.
Rainy Day Games would be my second best - just cause it is so far from my home.

Bridgetown Hobbies was a delight, probably could have spent three times as much there as I did, but limited myself to four new books and new dice ('cause you gotta get new dice!).

Hey Lilith...were you into the SCA...cuz I think I know you. Do you remember a really TALL guy....I sometimes hung out with Chrissy Nelson (airmid)....I saw you a few times I think...if not no biggie...anyway.
