SCAPresources is off and running!

Shackled City Adventure Path

Huge thanks to everyone contributing their helpful DM aids in the newly created SCAPresources group at Yahoo. There has been a lot of positive interest from everyone and about 20 generous submissions so far. And several people on this board have mentioned future submissions soon to come. Wow!

It was a great idea to start a repository for resources. Thanks to Brian Barrington for that. And thanks again to everyone pitching in!

Take a little trip to the SCAPresources group to check it out.

Okay, the SCAPresources group has relocated to its own site at:

http://scapresources.envisable.com

There are almost 100 people registered in the group and about 30 resource files submitted by various members so far. If you joined the Yahoo group, I hope you will join in the new site now and continue participating.

The new site will eliminate the problem many people were having downloading the resourced shared and allow for more file storage.

It's pretty amazing that there was so much interest. Let's keep it up and help everyone run even more successful campaigns!

Thanks,
Koramado

Cool design! I hope my players don't find that site though. :-)

Joined up! a quick question tho..how does one post to the discussion section i don't seem to see anyway to make a post.
I'm presuming this site has no problems with download limits?
Should i be ok removing all the maps from my site then?

I didn't like the original discussion section either, Icebreaker, so it has been replaced with a much more robust forums module. I think you'll find it works much better!

We have an unlimited download bandwidth for the new site and you can feel free to remove the maps from your site now if you want, but make sure everything you have is posted first, please. :)

Keep the comments and suggestions coming. Thanks!

That looks like a very nice site. You should all be commended for the obvious time and effort you put into it.

This is great. I was considering trying to get a decent messageboard system/file sharing system going on my server, but I didn't have the time to dedicate to finding a good one that wouldn't run me lots of money.

But as an aside, I got inspired by my campaign, an article in Dragon 334, and just something that I'd intended to write up for a while for consistencies sake. I just uploaded (waiting for approval) a 5-page word document detailing Laws and Punishments for Cauldron.

I liked it alot, Steev42! Approval is more of a formality to make sure things are going in the right places. It's up on the site now.

The site looks nice, can't wait to use the resources, and hopefully be able to contribute to it myself.

Great work! Thanks to all contributors. With these new resources (especially the great maps I can blow up to use as battle-maps) I will for sure visit the Shakled City after fighting off the Age of Worms with my players....

I haven't purchased Age of Worms, yet, but do you think there would be the same interest in sharing created resources for that AP? It would be rather easy to add to the existing resource site. I could even give it it's own look based on the AoW artwork and logo.

Just a thought...

I am going to add my Encounter table for the first 2 adventures and Treasure list for Life's bazaar (original) in Excel, and will add additional tables as i progress through the book.

By the way, I created yesterday color print outs of the diverse rooms in Draktahr's Way to glue them on comic backer boards to have my own Dungeon Tiles. Thanks for the guys who did the work to remove the secret doors and headings and traps from the pictures.

Site looks great. Can't access anything yet, is it because the site is still "in construction?"

I have some old stat blocks for NPC Cauldron locals that I had posted on this board that I would be psyched to contribute to the site to help get some of the content up and running.

Looking forward to see how this develops.

No thee site is working now. Others have been submitting new resources successfully. You should be able to view and download everything right now, but to upload you need to use the register link. Then you will see an upload button at the top of the download sections. After you submit a file, it will be approved by admin before showing up on the site.

Looking forward to your contribution! Let me know if you still have a problem using the site.

Thanks,
Koramado

It's that I was using safari. I can access it by using explorer.

Hi, Delvesdeep. You will have to upload your files again as updated versions. If you will note that it is an update for a previous file in your description of the new file when uploading, I'll make sure to remove the old one so we don't have the old stuff collecting dust. Your first versions have already been downloaded 6 and 8 times respectively.

I'll see if I can find a way to make it easier for people to update their own uploads.

Thanks!

Koramado,

Rather than have you continually deleting old versions I've written I will wait until I have the finished version (well at least at the time;)) before I attempt to post it up. I'll give you plenty of warning and use this forum as my 'work-in-progress' site.

The site has definte potential, I'm DMing a group through "Secrets of the Soul Pillars" now, wish I had access to this site from the get go. Thanks for all the hard work guys.

For any who noticed that the site downloads were unavailable over the past couple of days, the problem has been fixed and the downloads were restored. There was a small database issue that caused the download sections to break. I hope you will continue to visit and use the site for the benefit of your game.

Regards,
Koramado

Thanks Koramado. Good work on fixing (and running!) the site.

Really loving the statblocks that Eric has put up, saving me tons of time. Now if only the DM in the Dragonlance game I play would get similar statblocks, his game would run smoothly too!
