Whereabouts in OKC? Do you ever get into Game HQ? A great LGS. I plugged them in my bio in #106.

Great campaign arc! I was actually in Game HQ yesterday. I noticed that you didn't plug in in the last series, you still play there? We may have to meet there sometime for a game. I can leave my phone number there or something.

I really liked all the old school T 1-4, A 1-4 and GDQ 1-7 tie-ins.

Once again, let me know if you want to game sometime, and we can work out the details.

ASEO out.

Thanks so much, and thanks for noticing the tie-ins. That was a tip of my hat to us old-time gamers. Being a 1E fan and a Greyhawk junkie those were my favorite adventures separately, and when they tied them altogether in their combined mega-adventure formats it about blew my young mind. Anyway, I envisioned the Istivin adventures to be a long-awaited sequel to that continuing plot so I felt I had to pay tribute to the masters. Yeah, I know "Liberation of Geoff" was a revisit, but it really only provided an alternate plot for the Giant adventures. And of course there's Monte Cook's "Return to the Temple..." which was fantastic but didn't really touch on the Slave Lords or Giants and Drow. Anyway, that's my piece on that.

As to Game HQ, I've only actually played there once, at a Gameday they hosted last April. It was a blast, but I don't know if they've had a non-card game Gameday since. I really don't get to play that often - my wife and kids seem to think that they have some sort of claim to my time (I'm still checking with Legal on that) - so I play with my regular group only about once every three weeks. I mainly like Game HQ just because they have a great selection and a great staff, Brian and Mike are a couple of hoots (I don't know the other guys that well), and I hang out talking to them some times. They always help me find obscure books I'm looking for, and have special-ordered things for me in the past. All around great store. I haven't plugged them any since #106 because I didn't want to overdue it and make Erik think I was just a Game HQ shill (though for certain considerations I'll happily be a shill).

As to playing a game. I'd definitely be up for that sometime. We ought to try and pressure them into hosting another Gameday with D&D. (I can usually get a kitchen pass for a special event). I drop subtle hints about everytime I'm in there. I think they may be reluctant because of the small turnout last time. If you know anyone who would be interested, I can usually round up a few. We ought to try and do it some time this spring. You can e-mail me at gav3@prodigy.net.

***To all Messageboarders in the OKC area.*** Get on this thread if you'd be interested in a Gameday in somewhat central OKC (89th & Penn just off of I-240) so we can have an idea of any others who might be interested.

OY!

I just started an OKC Meetup group...I'm sure we'd all be interested...there's only 5 of us at the moment..but that can be good fer now.

We're meeting this Sat at Borders on the NW Expressway. 4pm...if yer interested come on out.

Thanks for the e-mail Stillfoxx.

There's nothing currently in the works that I know of, but we ended up doing one in April and I expect we might do one again this spring. I'll definitely drop you a not when I find out anything more. Good luck with your group. I forwarded the news it on to try and drum up some more attendees for your meeting.
