Something I'd like to see in the pages of Dragon would be an article every now and again relating to D20 Modern and its related titles. Many, many, years ago Dragon would feature an article for Alternity every now and again. I'd like to see something similiar for D20 Modern and its satellite books. Especially if you can cram in some of those web extras that I can't get to open up for some odd reason. Case in point: VR and new aliens for D20 Future. It miffs me no end that I can't get access to these as I rather liked D20 Future and will prolly ge D20 Past when it comes out.
There's an excellent series by Jim Butcher that is a modern fantasy style and would give excellent ideas for d20 modern campaigns. Heck, I've been contemplating writing a Novel Approach for it dealing with a lot of the items that Harry Dresden uses throughout the story. Unfortunately I am not sure what legalities would be involved in said article.
But it would be pretty dang cool IMHO.
Yeah, part of me is thinking we might need another magazine just for D20 Modern. Polyhedron had some good ideas for the series but it seems that the Modern game is the red headed stepchild of the settings. Alternity saw more love from TSR than Wizards seems to give to it Modern game.
