So if I have a subscription to the core rulebooks can I get this as part of it?

The logo is very reminiscent of the Star Leauge logo from The Last Starfighter. I approve.

How do I upgrade my subscription to include this version of the core book, also can I pick my starfinder subscription (hopefully this version of the core book) up at gencon.

My fisrt edition first printing looks like the day I bought it only now it has a whole mess of Paizo staff signatures.

heck my second ed. D&D still looks like new. I guess Im in the minority though. To me its a game and a collection so I take eztra good care of them....and I admit Im now buying the pocket editions so if they get a bit roughed up I dont care as much.

The Core Rulebook Limited Edition is NOT part of the subscription and the copy your subscription generates cannot be upgraded to the Limited Edition. If you want the Limited Edition you will need to place an order for it. We can cancel your subscription so you don't get the regular version. Just let us know through email, by making a thread in the customer service forum, or giving us a call at 425-250-0800 between 10am and 5pm pacific time, Monday through Friday.

Yes. Due to the limited nature for the product, we recommend that you go ahead and submit the order for the Limited Edition, THEN contact Customer Service (preferably via the Customer Service Messageboards or by an email to customer.service@paizo.com) to have your order of the regular one cancelled.

It is not currently a feasible option for us to include an opt-in optional subscription item for a subscription line in this manner.

This will be my personal copy, while I lend out the other one for use at my table. Plus I'll have my pdf. I think I'll have enough copies lol

Alas, unless by some fluke of chance there's enough at GenCon, I cannot in good faith pre-order a copy if the reason I'd order one is to get the signatures of contributors present at that convention.

It's understandable that the restrictions in place are to prevent abuses, and it is commendable that Paizo is being up front and honest about the availability, unlike some other retailers.

So if you want to go all-in from the start, you either get two copies of the Core Rulebook or miss out on free PDFs for the Rulebook and first adventure.

It'd be nice if when you get a subscription, you could instead opt into the collector's edition...

Would our Starfinder Superscriber discount apply on this? I am new to the whole subscription process and am still figuring out the inner workings.

It will, yes (though you won't see the discounted price when you place the order - it will show up once the first subscription order ships in August, when you get charged).

I guess I will be getting one after all. My wife just ordered me one for christmas!
