New Pathfinder RPG book from Tricky Owlbear!

Some creatures shouldn't fade into history, and with Forgotten Foes from Tricky Owlbear Publishing, they won't have to!

With Forgotten Foes, many of the old-school creatures that were left out of the original Bestiary make an apperance, but there are plenty of new ones to add to your GM's toolbox. You can create your own beings of madness incarnate with the chaosiic (sample chaosiic included), or send your PCs screaming into the night with the chaosiic lords—reality-warping beings such as the Lord of Entropy or the Lord of the Insane. Re-introduce the elven hounds known as cooshee, add the double-weapon-wielding felius demon, or the draconic might of the sin dragons to your game and watch the spells and steel fly to defeat (or defend) them!

Tricky Owlbear isn't a one-trick pony owlbear, and they have several other PDFs to choose from! Check out Learning Curve: Apprentice-Level Characters for a new way to start your character, or if you need to drop in a few locations to your game, Abbey of the Golden Sparrow and The Favored of Skexxiz are worth a look. In our Legacy of Fire Adventure Path, we introduced the idea of achievement feats, and with not one, but two volumes of these feats, Tricky Owlbear has certainly ran with the concept! Check out the first volume here and the second here!

More Blog.

Wow, thanks for mentioning us on the store blog; truly an honor!

I need to point out that the success of Forgotten Foes could not have been achieved without three people: Mark Gedak, Stefen Styrsky, and K Axel Carlsson. The first two individuals you may know as the brains behind Purple Duck Games while the third "heads up" Headless Hydra Games.

With Mark and Stefen as the authors and Axel as art director, there was really no way this book was going to go wrong. To be honest, most times I felt like just a ringmaster--directing people in a whirl of organized chaos. My own small writing contributions and editing are minor compared to the herculean efforts of the terrific trio mentioned above.

So if anything, you folks who have (or will) enjoy FF should give a look at those two companies as well. It'll be well worth your time.

Well, we've certainly had a spike in pdf sales since this store blog mention a few short days ago! I'm curious how many people are purchasing the print version of FF. If you've done so, feel free to drop a note here!

I have one sitting in my shopping cart. I am debating adding it to my sidecart but was wondering if there will be a Print/PDF bundle?

Thanks for the reminder! I need to talk to Paizo to see about making that happen so hold that thought....or, if you like, send me an email with your order confirmation and I'll email the pdf myself! (bret.boyd@trickyowlbear.com)

I have it in my wishlist. I'll probably pull the trigger next month. Looks great!

Print orders often get held until a shipment goes out, (some folks hold them until their subscription shipments are close) but PDF spikes are a good indication.

Congrats Brett!

It really is a great book.

Thanks, everyone! I've emailed Paizo to see about setting up a bundle deal so we should have some action on that early next week.

Liz Courts and I exchanged some emails. Here's the result...

I've set up the print/PDF bundle for "Forgotten Foes", and we'll get the print orders converted over to the bundle as soon as possible. If there's anything else that I can do for you, please let me know.
