New Pathfinder Society Modules now available!

The latest Pathfinder Society modules are now here, and it's time to head to the mean streets of Taldor's capitol, Oppara! Of course, by mean streets, we mean diving head-first into the intricate web of intrigue, noble families, and religious conflict that's driven Taldan politics for years.

In Pathfinder Society Scenario #2-21: The Dalsine Affair, the Society's continued presence in Taldor is threatened. Implicated in attacks against the Society's allies, Baron Jacquo Dalsine's cousin is the primary suspect, sparking retribution from the factions within the Society. It's up to your characters to smooth ruffled feathers, clear things up, and see what's really going on in Oppara!

The fourth and final part of the Eyes of the Ten has arrived! In Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained, this scenario for 12th level characters will call upon all of the nerve, resources, and skills that your Society characters have earned over their careers. Your mission—infiltrate the heart of the Pathfinder Society Grand Lodge of Absalom, and save a member of the Decemvirate from an assassin's blade! No easy task, as their sanctum, Skyreach, is well-known to have guardians a-plenty and enough traps to make an experienced burglar's hair turn white.

The second season of Pathfinder Society is almost at a close—don't miss the final scenarios, available here, before the next season's exciting new beginning!

I hope that building security has been improved since Season 0!

Stay of Execution (Retired):
The Decemvirate, the masked leaders of the Pathfinder Society, possesses great artifacts of wonder and power. Recently their collection became one less when a skilled rogue named Hadge, looking to build a reputation, tried to break into the vaults of the Grand Lodge by slipping in through a carelessly unlocked window. He found a sleeping scholar at a desk, gripping a shiny object in his resting hands. Rather than go through with the original plan, the opportunist Hadge grabbed the object instead and escaped back into Absalom proper. The object was a powerful divination focus, used by scholars of the Decemvirate to communicate with one another.

The Dalsine Affair sounds like it could be similar to MotT Mermaid. I hope so, that was a good time.

It's less of a murder mystery/whodunit than Mermaid, yet still filled with intrigue. I can't say much more without giving away important plot points.

I haven't had the opportunity to play my 7th-level Overdutchess of Taldor PC since last year's PaizoCon, and The Dalsine Affair is first on my schedule this year. So. Very. Excited. :)

She'll definitely fit right in. I look forward to meeting her (I'll be your GM).

Will this Overdutchess be gracing any other slots with her attendance? Perhaps we will have to grace this "Grande Melee" with our combined presence!

After restoring the good name of the Baron's family, I will certainly be in attendance at the Grand Melee. I was most severely disappointed in the oversight that led to the melee not appearing on the schedule last adventuring season, and look foward with eagerness to increasing the glory of Taldor at the event this year. It was, after all, during the inaugural Grand Convocation that I earned my title of nobility, with the help of the Lady Charlotte Deschamps and a bit of luck in convincing the Paracountess Zarta Dralneen that I had persuaded Captain Maldris to sign over his soul in exchange for two words. May those words ring loud and long: Taldor Forever!

We will rise again,
Overdutchess Scatha, barbarian

Lady Scatha's dance card is quite full for PaizoCon:

Friday afternoon: The Dalsine Affair
Friday night: Grand Melee
Saturday am: The Midnight Mauler
Saturday pm: You Only Die Twice
Sunday am: The Mantis's Prey

She sends her regards for a fellow Lady and kindred adventuring spirit, along with her hope that they may seen meet and fight side-by-side, whether intrigue or earthbreakers are the weapon of the day.

Sincerely,
Elora, social secretary to the Overdutchess

Well, then, it appears we shall be enjoying two outings together: the Grand Melee and The Mantis's Prey.

Oh, and having just unraveled The Dalsine Affair earlier this evening, I must advise, Scatha, to be certain to bring a competent healer with you. Let us hope that yours is not another one of those Sarenrae heathens which I had to suffer the presence of.

Until the Melee, then,

Most excellent advice! Be assured that I long ago reached the conclusion that I must be able to rely on myself in matters of healing, and a season spent studying both magical and performing arts at the Conservatory in Oppara remedied my earlier lack.

Until the Melee,
Your fellow Lady Pathfinder,
Overdutchess Scatha, bar(d)barian
