"You'll also find archetypes that allow you to raise a small battalion of undead soldiers or wield a personal siege weapon"
Ummm excuse me.... archetypes that allow what?!
Looks like Sneak Attack with a ballista is back on the menu!

Curious to see what shape the Inner Sea War takes!
Really loving everything about the new ancestry.
I do find it kind of crazy that in July-August, though, Pathfinder is about to get eight new classes, around 10 new ancestries, some alternates for existing ancestries, and 2 heritages when you combine this release and the Starfinder one.

We're going to eat so much we'll practically be Urgathoans. Especially when the Starfinder GM Core comes out and we get ways to more fully combine the tech levels.

Can anyone at Paizo confirm that the spine is going to be white with the same green font as the core books?
I’ve always loved how beyond the core in premaster the spines were all cool and themed to the book. But it looks like I may be in the minority.
I too love the unique covers beyond the Core books.
I was surprised when War of Immortals was colored the same as the Cores but Howl of the Wild was not.
Makes organization a little tricky.

This could be really interesting. Will there be an adventure path that will make use of this?
There was a mention in a Polygon article about this book that included an AP called Hellbreakers

Yep, it's almost like they don't realize what an anal lot we RPGers can be.

Anyone knows how much the PDF would be? Roughly 20$ or roughly 30$.
It might be in reach for me with a Coupon i won recently...
At a glance I’d say $19.99 has been the consistent price for Rulebook PDFs

This needs to be followed by the “Armies of Golarion” book that has been mentioned before. With all these wars going on, shouldn’t every settlement in Golarion get an “army sheet”?
Considering the number of city-states and nations on Golarion, that book would be massive. Better to provide the tools for making an army out of specific parts and applying relevant modifiers.

I know you’re joking but adding a Warhammer dimension to Golarion is precisely what I would like Paizo to add above all. My own world is a 4X strategy version of Golarion where each of my 15 players, in addition to their roleplaying character, owns several “heroes” who operate like the heroes in the strategy videogames Master of Magic and Heroes of Might and Magic, being free to roam Golarion and city-build etc. as described in “Ultimate Campaign” (and Legendary’s “Ultimate Kingdoms”), plus they can zoom in and play PFS Scenarios as if they’re playing SRPG stages. All the while 4 APs are also running at any given time and everything interacting with and affecting everything else!
Why am I saying this in this thread? Because the only thing I am missing is the stats for all the armies of Golarion. I have to make them myself, and I don’t know enough about the world plus lack the experience to do it as well as Paizo would do it.
But aside from my personal desires, don’t you think that adding a Warhammer dimension to Golarion (and a 40k dimension to the Pact Worlds) would be a hit for Paizo? It would enrich the world figuratively, and Paizo literally.
I’ll grant that if war can be initiated by players at any time, it can mess with the complex
narratives. It sure isn’t easy to GM something like this, and it’s even harder to plan and publish as a company at Paizo’s scale. But... there are ways to constrain it and make it manageable. And how glorious if it succeeded!
Anyway that’s my idea and my thinking. And while I am dreaming, I look forward to whatever useful bits and pieces that Battlecry will contain for my 4X Golarion
world.
P.S. Experienced 3PP devs should write Armies of Golarion for Pathfinder Infinite. I’d buy it in a heartbeat and shill it on my site.

I've been out of the loop for a little bit. Is there any information on the Jotunborn ancestry?? Are they Large sized? Or just flavor large. The dude on the cover looks BIG.
personally, i haven't heard anything about jotunborn. but seeing how minotaurs and centaurs are large (and awakened animals can be large) i would be surprised if jotunborn ends up medium.

Author of the Starfinder Kingdom conversions for Legendary Games and the Dominion rules for Studio M- here. If there is a market for more kingdom stuff, I'm more than happy to fill it for PF1, PF2, and 5e alike (I have tons of notes for such books).
Armies of Golarion sounds interesting, but I feel like that would require some more infrastructure for building not just kingdoms but nations on the scale of Cheliax and Andoran. Something that lets people play Europa Universalis in Golarion could be compelling for groups willing to make the commitment.

They also look and feel way bigger than Centaur and Minotaur is just looking at them. He’s standing next to an orc and they are not short
To be honest, how you measure horses are in hands, and to the top of the shoulder/withers (basically where shoulder meets neck). A pony can generally be up to 14.3 hands high (or about 150cm, not sure what in inches) at the withers.
And considering the withers is where the human parts start on a centaur, and my own height (about 170cm/5'7"), even the Ponygait centaur can be pretty tall compared to the average human.

A curse shall light upon the limbs of men.
Domestic fury and fierce civil strife
Shall cumber all the parts of Italy.
Blood and destruction shall be so in use,
And dreadful objects so familiar,
That mothers shall but smile when they behold
Their infants quartered with the hands of war,
All pity choked with custom of fell deeds,
And Caesar’s spirit, ranging for revenge,
With Ate by his side come hot from hell,
Shall in these confines with a monarch’s voice
Cry “Havoc!” and let slip the dogs of war,
That this foul deed shall smell above the earth
With carrion men, groaning for burial.

Lot of new info came out in Friday's Hellbreakers stream I haven't seen anyone post about!
Skirmish Encounters-- You lead a troop, and are assumed to occupy all of its spaces for squad vs. squad (typically, there's guidance to pit your troop against a bigger monster) combat! Morale rules establish guidance for routing enemy troops and being routed, which is easier to avoid with a PC or NPC leader. You can also spend time to train with your troop to get a skirmish bond, ranging from increased discipline to granting your troop class focuses such as stealth or spellcasting. Also includes guidance for 1/2 scale mapping and 20 pages of new troops, including a Chorus of Angles, Xulgath dinosaur calvalry, druid circles, monks and more.
Commander-- They get new tactics, such as the expert command Alley-Oop! (sp?) which allows your allies to toss supplies between one another using either free actions or reactions. If it's special ammunition, the catcher can also use it to reload. That's all we got! Presumably they didn't change much from the playtest.
Guardian-- All expenses were taken to make them as tanky as possible. They are up to 12 HP! And gain resistances at level one unrelated to armor specialization so long as they are wearing Med or Heavy armor. Taunt has also been tweaked.
Jotunborn-- Despite what I myself had speculated, Joturnborn do in fact originate from a brand new reality, a "sub-planar realm" called The Fray (sp?) just underlying the Universe. They were placed there millennia ago by the gods as "Custodians of the Universe" and due to the Godsrain have just come to Golarion but are finding it harder to go back. They are characterized as "in tune with the universe" and "wanting to help people". The beetle/horseshoe crab-like creatures they get their silk and armor from are called "ivlars" (sp?). The Jotunborn are described as ancestors or descendants of Titans (I believe both were used, one was presumably misspoken). They are large and their feats often center around that largeness, such as pushing and throwing people, but also feature some inherent plane-hopping and teleportation. There are also new Jotunborn weapons, such as a maul-spade, a half-moon polearm similar to the blades from the TOS episode "Amok Time", and the Blade-sweeper, three human-scale greatswords lashed to a large handle.
Other Stuff--
New vehicles such as the air-cycle, siege dragon, medical wagon, necro-roamer, and the ironclad and steam turtle sea vehicles.
Battle focused options for classes such as Sorcerer and Thaumaturge.
Remastered and new equipment, such as the battle-lute.
Archetypes! Field Propagandist is focused on persuading people and can eventually play with "technical truth"; a remastered Aldori Duelist with some new feats; Crossbow Infiltrator, a remastered Drow shootist, also with a couple new feats; Warmage; something like "Necrologist" loosely tied to the Impossible playtest Necromancer; and more!

The Guardian class has seen quite a few tweaks, 12 hit points per level, and physical resistance at first level not tied to armor specialization (but requires medium/ heavy armor). They mentioned tweaking taunt and a bunch of feats. Guardian has gotten greater mobility, and is better at intercepting attacks, you aren’t stuck near your allies to protect them.

I am so excited since auth emails should start going out today (shipping isn't for a few more days) and while we know a fair amount about this book, a lot of it still feels mysterious, especially about like, archetypes. I recall the necromancer-ish one, and the personal siege weapon one, but we still don't how either work, or what else is there (if anything.)
I'm also interested in what support for casters the Commander got, how the Guardian actually turned out for realses. Gah, I'm just so thrilled to get my hands on this pdf.

I believe there was also mention of an archetype that is like a remastered form of Drow Shootist.
