For ages, the orcs of Belkzen have been marginalized, subjugated, and vilified, relegated to the rocky northern wastes. Yet in recent battles waged against their undead nemeses, orcs showed the world that they have a common enemy—the evil lich-lord known as the Whispering Tyrant. Now, openminded leaders like Ardax the White-Hair have initiated a grand diplomatic campaign to bury old grudges and forge alliances across the continent. There are few takers.

In the Triumph of the Tusk Adventure Path, the PCs are dignitaries representing the few orc communities or foreign organizations who answered Ardax’s call. Their mission of peace soon turns violent when supernatural weather disasters, betrayals, undead uprisings, and even deicide turn the orcs’ homeland into a desperate battlefield. With the PCs’ help, Belkzen won’t just survive, but will earn the respect it has always deserved!

The Resurrection Flood is an orc-focused Pathfinder adventure for four 3rd-level characters. The adventure begins the Triumph of the Tusk Adventure Path, a three-part monthly campaign in which an eclectic band of dignitaries become battle-hardened survivalists fighting for orcs’ homeland and independence. This volume includes an overview of orc culture, an exploration of the Flood Truce tradition, new magical items, and fearsome creatures that wander the wilds!

Each monthly full-color softcover Pathfinder Adventure Path volume contains an in-depth adventure scenario, stats for several new monsters, and support articles meant to give Game Masters additional material to expand their campaign.

Interesting premise. :) A lot of bangers lately with the AP themes.

Ardax Whitehair is the currently leader of most of the Orcs within Belkzen, having united them to push back the Whispering Tyrant's armies, and is the former right hand of Grask Uldeth, and current lord of Urgir.

He is middle-aged, a vicious combatant, and has been seen speaking with Sorshen and seeking alliances with the likes of Azaershi, and the Knights of Lastwall.

*sigh*

The question was what organizations answered and by extension what player character options would be included, not which were asked or who by (because, as you say, these are already stated in other books). And it's Azaersi.

In addition, the Pathfinder Society more than likely. The organization has a relationship with the orcs in the region dating back at least to Season 8 of PFS(1).

I'm thinking that there will be representation from the Pathfinder Society and the Knights of Lastwall, and possibly the Magaambya. The Firebrands and Hellknights wouldn't be too much of a surprise. For nations, Oprak and New Eurythnia are basically guaranteed, and I think that a surprise emissary from Highhelm might also show up. Said emissary might be carrying a most unusual message from a king long dead...

It would be very cool to have a list of possible representatives, with the idea that the GM selects who shows up based on what kind of characters the players bring, choosing people that could align with and know the PCs already or be a foil to others.

That would be from Dongun Hold more likely, wouldn't it?

It'd be nice to finally cash in the Donguni king's secret plan to make right with Belkzen.

I would not be surprised to see that in the Player's Guide.

Didn't she pass the letter along to Highhelm?

Also the Matanji from the Mwangi Expanse, come to think of it.

Can we expect this AP being something like a cornerstone like Rise of the Runelords was with potentially some follow ups?

From all the news I expect that the death of Gorum will play into part 2 or 3 and PC will be able to get some mythic options later on.

Liberty's Edge

Seeing as the best thing about Giantslayer was Vols 1 and 2 -- which were focused on Orcs, not Giants -- this AP is WELL PAST DUE.
