Show off your character with the Player Character Pawn Collection, featuring more than 200 pawns for use with Pathfinder Second Edition or any tabletop fantasy RPG! Printed on sturdy cardstock, each pawn presents a beautiful full-color image to represent a wide variety of player characters! Each cardstock pawn slots into a size-appropriate plastic base from any of the Bestiary Box collections or the Pathfinder Pawns Base Assortment, making the pawns easy to mix with traditional metal or plastic miniatures.
There's one pawn for every combination of ancestry and class from the Core Rulebook. This product also supports the Advanced Player's Guide, with a selection of pawns for every new ancestry in that book, a pawn for each archetype, as well as a pawn for every combination of Core Rulebook ancestry and Advanced Player's Guide class. You'll also find a selection of pawns for the ancestries in Lost Omens Character Guide, as well as multiple familiars and animal companions!
The player characters of the Pathfinder Core Rulebook and Advanced Player's Guide come to life on your tabletop! Each has its own abbreviation and identification number for easy sorting. The Pathfinder Player Character Pawn Collection includes:
As a GM, I typically assign chess pieces to my players, or let passionate individuals bring their own minis, and these are certainly very cool... I'm gonna use them for NPCs nyeheheh
Pathfinder Battles Case Subscriber; Pathfinder Companion, LO Special Edition, Maps, Pathfinder Accessories, Pawns, PF Special Edition Subscriber; Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber; Starfinder Superscriber
Would love to see the same theme for a Full minis set!
Will these pawn be available in Europe through retail? Shipping prices are to expensive for European customerz.
All of our products are offered into all of our distribution channels but it is up to the different distributors as to whether they carry them or not. Asmodee in Europe tends to pick up everything but I have no idea whether they supply games into your region. Your best bet is to pre-order them through your local game store and see what they say.
If I may offer a suggestion: I assume you have reasonable-size art for the pawns included in this product. Would it be possible to get those released as tokens for Roll20 (and other VTTS I assume)? The free Character Art Pack is really nice, but a bit limited.

I would also like to request a version of the .PDFs for the various pawn collections for VTTs. The oval-arch design might work for the cut-out method. But for those of us for want to use these designs for Foundry or Roll20, it's much harder to convert them into circular pogs with borders.
There are some pawn sets available in the marketplace on Roll20, but I never use them, as I prefer to just upload my own pdfs. But, they do seem to be missing the mark in that there could be a lot more product available for VTTs that isn't being offered.
The PDF is very low-res. Is there a better version of this? I don't think this is worth getting if it's so hard to appreciate the details of the artwork.
Player Character Pawns are great, but with new Ancestry Guide, it would be even better to have expanded Pawns for new races, as well as the old ones, which didn't make it to this collection.
It's not just the characters in the Character Guide and the Ancestry Guide but also the classes in Guns & Gear, Dark Archive, and Book of the Dead that would be fun to see in a "Pathfinder Player Character Pawn 2". I wonder if Paizo could find a way to survey players and then begin a Kickstarter to see if there's enough interest for them to make money off of something like this.
As per our “Paizo Subscriptions Update” blog on Friday, July 8th, 2022, we’ve announced the sunset of the pawn line for both Starfinder and Pathfinder. Paizo will keep the core pawns (Bestiaries for Pathfinder and Alien Archives for Starfinder) and the bases (Pathfinder Pawns: Base Assortment and Starfinder Pawns: Base Assortment) in stock for as long there’s enough demand.
I will advocate internally for this product to be considered core. But the pandemic has not been good to accessories, so I don’t have a clear answer at this time.
