The Pathfinder Society is a globe-trotting organization of adventurers, scholars, and warriors all dedicated to exploration, collecting lost knowledge and treasure, and sharing it with the world. Lost Omens: Pathfinder Society Guide details everything players and GMs need to know about the Pathfinder Society, from the basics of membership, to the Society's various factions, to the various lodges littered throughout the Inner Sea region. This book is the go-to source for the history and lore of the Pathfinder Society and features new rules content including new equipment, wayfinders, and support for Pathfinder-related archetypes! Re current cover art: Really nice painting! Very evocative of the tomb raiding/archaeological adventurer concept of the Pathfinder Society.

The only part of it that bothers me is that I always thought Koriah had a really high Perception...

;)

Probably gonna be a skip from me, unless it has a lot of Lodges detailed gacross the setting (like those in the Mwangi Expanse and Tian Xia). The Society has just never hooked me.

Meh... not really high on my list of must haves. I'll reserve judgement until I read it though.

It does, in fact, detail at least one brand new lodge in the Mwangi Expanse, and a major lodge in Tian Xia, as well as discussing Pathfinders of note from the edges of the Inner Sea and beyond. There may be other items on that vein you might be interested in.

It's also got some mechanics I'm super excited about that'll be useful for a wide array of characters of all types and traditions.

Obviously I have a certain professional bias, but I'd encourage you to check it out when it becomes available.

Does it say anything about that Druma lodge I have heard so much about? ;)

Dark Archive

Oh hey that character from shattered star whose name I forgot :D

Nice to see them again!

Loving the covers for the Lost Omens series.

But... I'm not really into the society. Maybe this book can change my mind?

Awesome cover!
The Society isn't my thing, but I Hope this means the other factions Will also ver their own books

Grand Lodge

Definitely a must have for me as a Society player. I just love the global aspect of our organization. Having the capability to play my characters in our universal campaign anywhere we gather is one of the best things about playing Pathfinder. That's what drew me to Pathfinder in the first place.

Can this art be final? its actually really wonderful

I'm ok with this, so long as it has enough mechanics in it- I enjoy reading and collecting the lore books, but my games take place in a home made setting fairly different from Golarion, so I'm mostly looting them for mechanics, so I love a good balance.

Though man, I can't wait to see more ancestries, even the APG doesn't have Kitsune, since I know they were considered for the LOCG, hopefully they're not too far off in the Lost Omens guide.

It does look like Koriah. Plus one for this to be final art

Artwork is not usually a big deal for me, and I have no idea who Koriah is. But, wow! That is an amazing cover!

Let's talk about the DRUMA LODGE.

Looks like fun!

If they change anything on the cover I bet it's how she's holding her sword.

So, I think this is more referring to the Organization in the World of Golarion that you don't need to play PFS to have a character be a member of. As well as mechanics around some new things (as they have done in these world books so far) to use.

But it probably some nice tie-ins to the Org Play items for lore and reasons they are going to send us off to die horribly.

Also, yeah, really loving the art on these books so far.

Exactly! It definitely will tie into Organized Play and be a great boon for players and GMs that are part of the Organized Play campaign. However, we've designed this book for use by all groups. This book is perfect for players who don't play in Organized Play but still want to learn about and play characters who are part of the Pathfinder Society. It's also meant to be the go-to resource for GMs who wish to include the Pathfinder Society in their games without having to learn the ins and outs of Organized Play.

It will definitely have some connections to the Organized Play campaign that regulars will be able to spot and be full of fun easter eggs for those in the now, but still functions as a valuable tool even without that kind of "insider knowledge."

Very cool!

Not a PFS player but I love the organizations in Golarion. Depending on how the Absalom book works, this might be the fourth Lost Omens book to feature archetype options for Pathfinders. I suppose it's pretty timely with the Absalom-centric AP going at the same time!

I know there has been a significant abundance of Mwangi material compared to a lot of regions in the setting, but I'm still crossing fingers for a Magaambyan University book some time.

Koriah Azmeren, one of the most famous contemporary field agents in the Pathfinder Society. Her deeds are chronicled in a recent volume of the (in-game) Pathfinder Chronicles. She was also involved in two adventure paths, namely first in Shattered Star and later in Return of the Runelords, where she is a member of Magnimar's Sihedron Council.

I like that in this picture she actually looks like a real person and much less cartoony than in previous artwork.

Loving the art in the Lot Omen's line so far and this cover does not disappoint. This a great concept and looking forward to another good read. Here is hoping that other organizations get books too; like the Aspis Consortium maybe or just criminal organizations general :)

Silver Crusade

The artwork for this product line really hits the spot for me ^^

Scarab Sages

This looks great. We run a home game that's not PFS, but I think this will add a lot of cool lore to our games. I'm looking forward to it.

Happenstancely I'm reminded of a review of the First Edition Society Guide, it might be best to put up a disclaimer saying you do not need to purchase this book to play PFS, and have a link to the actual PFS guide site :3
