Fabulous and Free!

*****

Every year I download Wayfinder and every year my kids and I lovingly give it a read together. Without fail, something from Wayfinder (usually quite a few somethings!) makes it into our home games. Whether it's used by a PC or GM, whether it's a character option, piece of gear, location, monster, or enemy – something makes it in.

Wayfinder 19 is a great addition to the Wayfinder fanzines, and the first focused on Starfinder. The articles inside offer new aliens, themes, equipment, and starships. In addition to player options, there’s plenty for GMs with adventure ideas, plot hooks, characters that can be used as allies or enemies, unique NPCs, and even a short adventure. Both players and GMs can make use of a ton of locations, personalities and gazetteers that are described throughout. To round things out there’s also songs, poetry, and fiction. And let’s not forget the awesome art!

This book is fabulous and absolutely free. There's no reason not to download. It's definitely worth the effort.

Note: My children and I contributed content to this issue of Wayfinder. As such, we are not commenting on any part of the fanzine we had a hand in creating. The above review is about all content excluding our own.

Amazing

*****

I was blown away by the quality of the art in this issue, and the articles don't disappoint either. I can't wait to run a game on Absalom Station so I can spend most of it describing all of the street food!

A Must Have!

*****

This is truly a labor of love and it shows. The content is great and it's execution is fantastic. Between the extra creatures and enemies, the potential allies, to the detailed locations and starships, this book does exactly what it set out to do and more! I can only hope that they do this style of thing for more Starfinder locations! It's free so there is no excuse not to download it and take a look!

This is so good! I'm so happy to see this level of content for the Starfinder system. I really really enjoy the different Weal and Woe sections!

If I were to put money on it I would say it is likely.

Short term, I'm expection more Starfinder and some 1st Ed. Pathfinder issues. Mid to long term, I'm expecting, Starfinder, 2nd Ed. Pathfinder and the occasional 1st Ed. Pathfinder issues.

But that's just my 2 coppers.

Given that these are only coming out once a year now, I would be very surprised if issue #20 covers anything but PF2E. It is too soon to guess what issue #21 will cover when it comes out in 2021. Will it even have a consistent theme as the earlier issues did?

Officially..... #20 will be Starfinder again. Paizo needs some time to generate enough to generate content that fans can write enough stuff to fill a fanzine.

So, maybe #21? After that, we would likely switch back and forth between 2E and SF.

We don’t necessarily have plans to go back to 1E....unless that’s where the fan-base stays even after 2E. We really just need to wait and see how it all goes.

P.S. Yes, issues will most certainly have focused themes. It produces the best outcome.

This looks AMAZING. Looking forward to digging through in detail.
