Kind of partial to learning about grand mother spider. Is she like anansi and a trickster God, or more of a monsterous deity instead. I am hoping it's like anansi since there are quite a few monsterous spiders in pathfinder already. Having a more neutral deity focused on cunning and weaving the web of fate would be interesting to see.

Maintain? She IS a dragon :3
Him (and his followers) deal with putting undead to rest but also in aiding and advocating for those who mental health and state differs from the accepted norm.
One of his aphorisms, used to inspire bravery, is also about someone who is vulnerable or scared summoning up the courage or energy to complete seemingly minor tasks that are rarely celebrated.

I want this book solely for Tsukiyo. Everybody else is just bonus material.

Her chapter has awesome opening art, "Screw you, Satan!" Her section has some of the best art in the book, showcasing her? as a little cute baby spider, and an Anandi women (avatar/priestess?).
She's the younger sister of Acheakak.
Was brought into existence by older gods to weave order into existence... but got bored with that.
If her brother is the assassin of the gods then she's the court jester there to mock them. She loves playing tricks and upsetting exceptions, especially if it teaches a lesson (does not get along with Sarenrae).

Grandmother Spider's are storytellers and weavers, but also can go after arrogants or oppressors to humble them. Or if you refuse to pay people for their services. There's no strict hierarchy though they tend to defer to elders.
Kazutal's are protectors and healers, and the ones that travel intentionally seek out people to help. Her Paladin code is VERY anti-slavery, and a big middle finger to every jerk GM or player that tried to read the Vanilla Paladin's code in a way to not let them oppose slavers.

The paladin codes in this book are so much fun! Some standout tenets:
Chaldira
Stealing is ok. Just don't be a dick about it.
Hei Feng (anti-paladin)
Its ok to do good deeds for no reason other than that they are good. As long as you hurt someone.
Magrim
Graves are quiet. If a society's customs say's you should be loud around the dead you must do _everything in your power_ to end that custom. Whats that, you guys do big party wakes? Magrim SMASH!
Pretty much all of Tsukiyo's code is about compassion and understanding. Love it!

Thank you. This is excellent to hear. I'm just sad I have to wait two weeks now to buy it. :-)

=O
That's amazing! I thought she was merely worshipped by dragons and could turn into one. *-*
Could you describe Shizuru, as well as the elven and the dwarf gods? I mean, their appearance.

She can appear as a dragon or samurai or a mix, reading the history blurb though it's apparent the Dragon part came first.
Her Dragon form is massive (as in blocks out the sky) with the sun resting between her crown of horns. Aka Sovereign Dragon Super Mode.
Magrim looks like a dwarf smith, if the smith's gloves and apron were made out of slabs of rock with runes carved into them. Black iron skin and molten eyes, with cool beard decs too.
Ketephys is a russet skinned elf with the eyes of a hawk and the feathers of one too instead of hair. He wears simple hunting clothes. So less extra than Erastil.
And cooler. Why? You ever wonder why Treerazer stays in his swamp? Ketephys personally lead an assault team of archers that hunted the nascent demon lord until he fled after he invaded Kyonin.

Hey Rysky.
Thanks for providing all the snippets from the book.
It's going to be a little while before I can get my copy of the book...
If it's not too much trouble, could you post a little more information for Gruhastha, Grandmother Spider, & Kazutal?
Specifically their alignment & areas of concern?
I have found Gruhastha's alignment (LG) & Kazutal's areas of concern (community, liberty, & safety), but not much for Grandmother Spider...
Please & thank you.
Carry on!
--C.

Sure!
Grandmother Spider (N) family, telling stories and pranking people, especially those that could learn or be humbled by the pranks.
Gruhastha (LG) enlightenment and transcendence through wisdom and empathy.
Kazutal (NG) formerly a war goddess, now one of protection, especially of communties, from threats from without and within.

I wonder how many of the Vudrani gods are focused on the different ways to achieve enlightenment and transcendence. If they have one that does so through emotional excess and hedonism then they will have their transcendence bases covered.

Nivi was the first svirfneblin, and the writing posits that a gnome becoming one is an alternative to the bleaching. She got her godhood from Torag after gifting him a particularly rare gem he was after.
Hei Feng likes to drink and break stuff, especially in retaliation for slights, though he can become regretful if unintended victims are caught up in it and he will try to make amends. Loves evocative art over “higher” forms of art, though he loves flower arrangement since it reminds him of his ex wife (Lady Jingxi), which he will get very poetic about (neither are actually interested in getting back together, he knows he screwed up). Which extends to his dealings with other whimsical Good aligned Gods such as Desna and Kofusachi, he likes them, but realizes he has to watch himself when around them so he tries to keep his time around them short.
His followers are expected to treat Lady Jingxi and her followers with far more respect than he demands for himself.

Who are the Razatlani? I don't remember them mentioned before.
They are a new group of people from Arcadia. They had the briefest of mentions in the Segada section in Distant Shores. You can learn a little more about them in an upcoming adventure!

Also dagnabbit I spent like 5 minutes editing this post and then all of that was lost due to "you spent too much backtracking" somehow. Anyway, long story short, I'm bit confused about two things: 1) is arachnophobia really that much more common than phobia of snakes/reptiles or cats and dogs? 2) I was wondering if exposing yourself to cute spider pics might help with the "gradually expose yourself to cause of phobia in safe and comfortable manner" treatment thing or if it was still not safe enough way to do it?
Also I spent like two paragraphs on being apologetic if I was accidentally being too rude or blunt because I don't know enough about the subject and I don't want to offend anyone :P But yeah really annoyed about the post being lost to the error messages

Thank you Eleanor. It may sound silly, but... I just...
Drider don't do it, though, it's just... those Other things.
** spoiler omitted **
Dagnabbit now I'm extra sad for me writing edit for like 15 minutes and it being lost to the error message because I feel like I didn't edit the post to be apologetic enough before another poster saw it xD I mean, I think my original post was kinda rude since I don't think its tone was understanding enough.
(I mean, I was afraid of spiders in the "run out of the room heart pumping" way for 10 years as a kid to early teens even if I was never afraid of pictures of them themselves. I'm really weird person in that I just suddenly one day started observing spider spinning and climbing their web and I was like "Aww, they are so hard workers, I mean they are so tiny and small but they still keep spinning that web and built it completely by themselves" and suddenly started finding them as cute as kittens. I seriously just went 180 completely on them out of nowhere, so its kinda hypocritical of me to not be understanding about fear of spiders even if I never had phobia)

Apology accepted.
The Duke of Thunder is the main draw, but Tsukiyo, Gruhastha, Chaldira, Shizuru, and Nivi all have my attention as well (which is why the concern about a given section was such a significant concern).
EDIT: Will the hardcover have the same method of warning?
