The briar labyrinth with cobwebs side sounds useful.
The other side has potential.

Thx for the update.
I don't see any "twisted briar walls" on the map, it looks more like patches inside a stone cavern system...

Also there are 43 one-square prison cells for medium or small creatures on the hellscape side, two for large ones and one for huge.

will be tricky getting a large or huge creature to the cells, with standard 5ft corridors.

so probably just mass storage for medium/small.

The mossy caves are a bit underwhelming.
The hellscape one is very interesting however. We need more lava rivers.

Lazy artwork on this design, especially the prison side with all the 5x5 rooms. Looks like a cut and paste photoshop design. Not Engle's best work.

The prison side is actually the more interesting one.

I can see pc's either have to break in to break someone out or imprisoned and having to escape during a riot/prison break with dtrange inmates.

I really like the layout for both sides of this map. In both cases you can navigate and make some interesting decisions (rather than a straight line of rooms or endless deadends).
