Resin...hmm, not so happy about this. I have bad luck with resin and probably won't use this on the gaming table. I find the material too brittle and easily broken, unlike the prepainted plastics I have for Star Wars. Definitely don't want to casually toss this on the table unless you want a broken ship. Unless this is some sort of resin that's different from what I have worked with. Any comment on this Paizo folks? Thanks!

Placed an order for it. Still have not been charged. Is this a preorder, if it is I haven't seen it on the page at all.

As a general rule on paizo.com it shouldn't affect it. When you place an order, Paizo's computer checks availability and kind of "puts one aside" for you. If it later shows as sold out but your order remains in your sidecart that shouldn't affect anything.
However, I suspect these are not kept in stock but are ordered as required from Ninja Division (or their distributor). There are more likely to be glitches in this situation, since if paizo's site hasn't been updated to show the distributor is out of stock they can put the item in your sidecart (believing there's one on the way for you) and the third party then updates them way down the track saying "actually, they're out of stock after all".
I suspect that's what has happened here (I also have a few in my sidecart). If I had to pick one trait to sum up Ninja Division Studios it would be "poor communicators".
That's all semi-informed opinion from a customer, not a factual update from a staffmember. But as a general rule I wouldn't worry about this. In this specific case, I think it may well be a few months before these are available again.
I'm not sure, but I don't think that's true.
My default is always "ship with my subscriptions" (ie send it to my sidecart) and I've had plenty of paranoid conversations with CS over the years where I ordered something to see it go to backorder. It's nearly always been the case that I ordered the last one and it's been "put aside" for my next subscription shipment (I suspect in a virtual sense, not actually physically moved).
Granted, I'm usually talking about 'ships in 1 to 6 days' items - ie things they actually stock in the warehouse. I suspect that things from distributor or direct from the publisher are less consistent, since it relies on Paizo and the third party having compatible systems and/or decent communication.

We certainly hope so. We are working with Ninja Division to get all of their existing commitments completed. As we work through those commitments, it is occasionally possible to produce additional copies of previous, popular figures, but we can't really predict when those opportunities will present themselves.
Note that the Sunrise Maiden will be available later this year as part of Iconic Heroes Set 1. Those sets are one of the existing commitments mentioned above, so the ship may be available first in pre-painted form before we are able to get more copies for the Masterclass (unpainted) line.
