Combat Tiers are designed to easily engage your gaming experience. The transparent material will not obscure the gaming environment. Multi-tier possibilities allow you to create various heights, while the large staging platforms allow players to place multiple figures in simulated flight or combat, keeping everything sturdy and precise. Combat Tiers are gauged in one inch increments both on the prominent staging platforms and on the supporting posts, so ranges can be easily determined at a glance. With included extension posts, your figures can soar to even higher heights. No longer are ranges reduced to estimations—know exactly how the battle unfolds!
The Combat Tiers Base Set includes: two 5"×5" (25'x25') base platforms two 4"×4" (16'x16') middle platforms with integral 2" (10') post two 4"×4" (16'x16') top platforms with integral 2" (10') post two 2" (10') extension posts two 4" (20') extension posts
This game aid gives you the ability to show elevations ranging from 10' (using 1 base platform and 1 top platform) to 90' (using 1 base platform, 2 middle platforms, 1 top platform, and all 4 extension posts).

The combat tiers are extremely versatile when it comes to adding dimensions to your battlemat. It works equally well for flying creatures, swimming depths and wall crawlers.
Buy a set today before they sell out again and you find yourself begging for a restock in the forums.
I purchased the combat tiers at GenCon50 and was pleased with how solid and stable the platforms are. I gave my party's rogue slippers of spider climbing early in the campaign, and have been struggling to find DIY solutions for his antics. We played last Saturday, and the combat tiers were perfect. The individual posts were the perfect size to move his figure around the map, and the platforms easily held a dragon without any wobble (I have the rest of the tiers behind my DM screen as shelving to hold minis I'll use in the next session).
I bought this back in 2010, and it has been very useful in many fights. The floor and the connecting higher area hook together. Unfortunately if I have the clear floor out on the map, my players know there will be some flying/elevated enemies once I hook in the higher platform, but it makes easier to envision the conceptual 3D views and ranges. Now if only there expansion parts a la carte.
Awesome items, really worth the buy in. the only thing i wish we could get was the post, you know the extansion so we could buy more without having to buy the whole set of bases and the likes. this is really worth it, but yeah more extensions sold separately please !
My first two sets are from the brown box days of Tinker Tactics Combat Tiers. Have changes been done to sizing or are these ones going to work mixed in with my old ones?

How does one place a back order for something listed as "unavailable"?

Are you using Chrome? Does it work if you put Chrome into incognito mode? If so, try this:
Paste "chrome://settings/content/all" into your address bar. You should see a bunch of websites you've visited. Type "paizo" into the search box at the upper right of that page (not the search box on your browser toolbar). Click on paizo.com, then click the "Clear data" and "Reset permissions" buttons. (If there were any other sites that came up when you searched for paizo—there probably won't be—click those two buttons for each of them too.)
