This fantastic Maze of Death Case Incentive set contains two beautiful display pieces that stands several inches tall and dwarf the other miniatures in the Pathfinder Battles: Maze of Death set.
Included in each box are two Huge creatures from the Pathfinder world: the mighty Air and Fire elemental lords!
The air elemental is massive and awesome. The fire elemental is much less appealing. The tiny feminine body just doesn't fit my image of a huge elemental. And the horns are a weird choice that I would prefer to be without as well. I'd give the air elemental 5 stars but as a two pack, the fire elemental drops this rating down to a 3 for me.

I am still scratching my head trying to figure out where the image of the Huge Water Elemental came from since it is not a mini that Wizkids is ready to sell yet.

The First announcement about this product was, it being "Air & Fire Elementals".
Shortly later, at GenCon 50 or PaizoCon (i can´t remember), the images of the Huge Water Elemental and Huge Air Elementals were shown.
From then on, i too was under the impression, that the incentive content had been changed to include the Water elemental (and ordered two incentives).
I´m 100% sure it is not Paizos fault, as Wizkids decides about these things.
But it would be nice to hear the story behind this.
As i recall, the next Pathfinder Battles set (#14 ETA may 2018) is planned to include another scenery set and the one after that (#15 ETA october 2018) should include the two missing Huge Earth and Water elementals.
This is not set in stone though and Wizkids could still decide otherwise.

But my question is where they came up with the photo of it. Since they presumably haven't manufactured the huge water elemental mini yet, what were they taking a picture of?
How did this set get a three rating? The air elemental figure is one of the coolest and most impressive figures that a GM can put on a table.
The review mirrors my own thoughts completely.
While the Air Elemental is awesome and easily 5 Stars, the Fire elemental (lord) looks nothing like a classic elemental.
D&D's "War of the Dragon Queen"'s Huge Fire Elemental is the Gold standard.
It's not massive enough.
I like the female looking Huge Water Elemental as well as the Huge Air and Earth Elementals, because they look impressive on the table.
With that being said, i think classic elementals shouldn't have a gender at all.
